Keeps wine fresh significantly longer. I've found wine to start to sour/taste off after 3-5 days in the fridge. This keeps the wine very fresh for 5 days like it's been opened that day, and keeps it still "good enough" a week or so after. Worth it for people that cook with wine or can't get through a bottle within 2-3 days.

This is used with the Zwilling Vacuum pump which seals all their vacuum products. This wine sealer is a real winner!!! I've used various products to seal leftover wine with varying degrees of success. I saw this product at a demonstration and decided try it.Initially I bought the Zwilling vacuum sealer set with bags, containers, etc. and ADDED this item. So, we have to talk about the vacuum pump a little. It is about an 8" high cylinder, hand-held and cordless/rechargeable. The charging port is on the pump so, other than the included cord, there are no other charging items to keep track of. Also, the round base fits ALL their vacuum products - no additional attachments needed if you decided to buy other sealing products. I keep mine in a corner of the kitchen counter so it's handy to use.The best thing is you don't have to buy an entire vacuum system. Just buy the pump and set of sealers and you are ready to go. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the wine holds up. When we open a bottle, immediately after pouring, we seal the bottle. We do this each time we reopen it. As the bottle empties, you can hear that it takes longer to remove the air.I have bought several and is my new go-to wine gift. Highly recommend.
