Ottima soluzione alternativa ai fiammiferi in legno per accendere la pipa, soprattutto in caso di vento.Non rovina il bordo del fornello durante l'accensione.Non proprio economico, ma utile allo scopo.Consiglio di ordinare anche il liquido Zippo perché l'accendino è consegnato scarico (immagino per ragioni di sicurezza nel trasporto).

Ottimo accendino, la qualità non si discute, accende bene la pipa ma può essere usato anche come accendino normale. Occhio che a me è arrivato completamente scarico, credo sia un articolo rimasto in magazzino per un pó di tempo, quindi magari munitevi preventivamente del liquido apposito per ricaricarlo.

Sono uno "Zippo fan" da moltissimi anni. Ho ancora un vecchio Zippo acquistato negli States nel 1975.Mi cadde dal terzo piano e subì solo una leggera ammaccatura. Questo è indubbiamente molto carino. Non trasmette sgradevoli sensazioni quando accendo il tabacco nelle mie pipe. Un po' leggerino, non sembra avere la robustezza del vecchio. Ma fa egregiamente il suo lavoro. La carica della benzina dura abbastanza, non tantissimo. Tutto sommato, un buon acquisto.

Qualità zippo. Se il livello del tabacco è troppo basso e il fornello della pipa un po' alto si fatica a riaccendere.Bell' oggetto.

Ero molto scettico sull’acquisto di questo prodotto molto criticato sul web, ma come tutte le cose bisogna provarle personalmente per giudicarle. A mio giudizio la zippo si è dimostrata all’altezza della sua fama storica anche con questa versione per pipa. Provato da subito con pipa dal fornello profondo senza trovare difficoltà, anzi regalando un ottima accensione fino in fondo. Non posso che essere soddisfatto da questo acquisto soprattutto dal rapporto qualità-prezzo. Consigliato!

Zippo non si smentisce mai! un accendino comodo pratico e geniale. Il foro centrale permette di accendere la pipa in modo semplice ed accurato. Ben fatto, elegante e di ottima qualità. La stampa della pipa sul metallo lo rende riconoscibile immediatamente, evitando così di confonderlo con altri accendini di questo tipo che hanno l'accensione tradizionale.

Zippo lighters are the best out there, period. I have been smoking a pipe for a long time, and my trusty zippo pipe lighter has always (and continues to) work reliably. I have had a chrome Zippo pipe lighter for over 8 years (matches before that) and it still, to this day, works like the day I got it. The ony reason I got this particular one (same one, different color) is that I wanted to treat myself to a different color. Nothing, absolutely NOTHING has ever gone wrong with my Zippo, and the only things nI have ever had to do to it have been: refuel, change flint, change wick. I have dropped it, sat on it, and it still works.There are a lot of pipe lighters out there, many will cost you several times more than this and will not last you. Go ahead and research the fancier pipe lighters out there, you will find that something always goes wrong with them. Zippo has, for generations, made a quality product at a low price, and it continues to do so. They stand behind their product 100% and, in the unlikely event that something does break they will send you a replacement part FREE.Butane lighters are cool looking, but do not last without costly repairs. If you want consistent performance, year after year, either get matches or a Zippo, a fancy and expensive lighter with electric ignition will not last you. Go ahead, search the "main players" out there and see waht people are saying.A few things to keep in mind:- People complain that the lighter spills fluid, but this only happens if you over fill it. Add fluid until you see the wick gets moist (without dripping) and you will be fine.- People out there complain that they can taste the lighter fluid. Well, I never had this issue.- People complain they have to re-fill the lighter (DUH! it's a re-fillable lighter). A fill will last you about a week, I'd say that's reasonable.- One thin I heard that it is absolutely and utterly ridiculuous is that you have to such the flame down too hard to get it to the tobacco. If you have to suck like a vacuum cleaner to light your tobacco, you simply do not know how to pack your pipe, period.I will not spend 10 times as much for Chinese made garbage when I can get a good, quality product, at a fraction of the price, made in the U.S. and guaranteed for life. Trust me, you are unlikely to ever have to use the warranty.Matches are great for lighting a pipe, but not as convenient. Bic lighters are good to have stuck in a drawer if you run out of fluid or matches. If you want a proper pipe lighter that will last you your entire life time and will be easy on the wallet, get a Zippo.
