This was a special purchase for me and I had waited some time due to price. I ordered what I understood to be a 'full size' for a full size bed. I followed the washing instructions, however I did wash other towels with this cover. I used unscented, no dye washing pods. Every single thing washed with this cover became YELLOW. After being dried on a COOL setting, the spread barely fit on the bed, it is small even for a twin size bed; the stitching is made with coarse thick threads that feel rough on the hand. I cannot recommend this spread other than a decorative piece, it is not for comfort, warmth, coolness or anything to do with a good night's sleep.

This is absolutely beautiful!! I'm so glad the colors are the same as advertised. Very well made! It does feel soft, but will run it through a gentle cold cycle before putting it on my bed. I'm so excited!! The colors are so vibrant! Makes for a perfect Summer blanket in Northern NY.

I am so happy with this bedspread! It is extremely lightweight and keeps everything at the correct temperature. I fluctuate between hot and cold a lot at night, so I sleep with a lot of layers of thin blankets and put them on and off as needed. This bedspread really helped with that. Needless to say, it is also very beautiful.Washing-wise, you'll want to be gentle on it. The decorative stitching that goes throughout it is somewhat fragile. There are small, reinforced rows of high quality cotton thread throughout so it is securely made, but if you want to keep the decorative (and probably traditional) top stitching intact, wash on cold/gentle and probably line dry if possible. If line dry isn't possible, do the lowest heat setting on your dryer as possible and only go 20-30 mins. It dries fast so it doesn't need much.I wanted to mention very quickly that other reviews mention a smell. There is a small one, and it took me a while to place what I was smelling, because it was so familiar. The blanket I received smells like incense. It is nowhere near unpleasant or overwhelming but if you are sensitive to smells of any type, you will want to wash this at least twice. I washed mine twice in a row with an unscented soapberry laundry soap, and most of the smell came out.Bottom line: highly recommended, wash and dry gentle. I will probably look for more colors and buy another!
