I have had 2 pairs of Nanos, 1 pair gravel and 1 pair mtb and I have had a consistent issue of losing air through the side walls. No puncture or audible air leak, they just flat almost immediately when rolling. Cannot recommend at all.

The side of this tire says something like "fast rolling". The tire is great, believe me, and for such a knobby tire it is probably fast rolling. But they are indeed knobby and you feel it through the bike and hear it, and all of that is resistance. They throw up little rocks on gravel way more than any other tire I've had, but they also whip through soft stuff (wet or dry) way better. I set them up tubeless and while I do not see any leaks of the sealant, I do have to pump them up before every ride (which is every few days). Maybe I need more sealant or maybe it's my rim tape. The tire was easy to mount -- not too tight, not too loose. I'm happy with the tire and assuming I don't have any issues or something, I will gladly be buying additional sets.

I love this tire. After a decade of mountain bike racing, I learned that you don't need a heavy tread to shred on all surfaces, and in fact, light and minimalist tires tend to beat everything out there for an all-conditions tire. I live in Western Pennsylvania, and ride a mixture of rough country roads and double-track trails in the forests. My Cannondale Topstone 1 came with 37mm Riddlers on it, which worked pretty well, but I couldn't travel really fast in rough conditions without getting my teeth rattled out of my head. After bumping up in size to a 40mm tire, everything changed. These tires really soften up the rough roads and trails, and do so at a variety of pressures. I ran these at 35 and 55, and to be honest, they handled everything about the same at both pressures... high speed descents, knarly trails, rutted and rocky country roads... you name it. The extra volume really makes a huge difference, and absorbs a lot of road vibration. Of course, I'm 200 pounds, so I can run some extra pressure and still enjoy the dampening effect of a larger tire.As for longevity: I've been running these for some time on all surfaces, and the tread holds up well. With regards to tube vs. tubeless, I run with tubes and haven't had a flat yet, nor any leak issues or beads not holding. All good there. As for best ride conditions for these tires, they seem to handle everything well, from loose, heavy gravel to sand and wet surfaces. I haven't noticed any performance drop-off except perhaps in really wet, slippery conditions with lots of mud, and in spite of that, they still did okay. To me, this is an excellent do-it-all gravel tire that I'll keep putting on my bike again and again. For full disclosure, I have two wheelsets for my bike, and I run a set of 32mm road/touring tire on the other wheels, so I don't have to find a compromise tire.I give this tire 5 stars. Great product that lives up to the advertising claims. I'll buy them again.UPDATE: 8 months and 1,500 miles later. Front tire still has 90% tread or better. Back tire is finally showing some wear, and probably about 25% of the tread is left and nearing replacement time. So I'm very happy with the longevity as well, and I never had a flat the entire time (I run tubes). Still very pleased, and about to reorder a single one to replace the rear.

I wanted to like these tires but they haven’t held up well. Set them up tubeless and pumped to 42-44 for rides on gravel and sandy gravel on shore line trails in the Bay Area. Rear tire never sealed well, loses 20 lbs overnight. Front tire was fine for a while but got a puncture in the sidewall after only 2 weeks. Got them resealed but it only held up for a month before it wouldn’t hold air at all. Finally threw in the towel and added an inner tube. Rear tire still needs to be pumped every day—the reseal didn’t help the daily leakage on the rear tire at all.As for handling, they have great straight line traction but honestly are a little squirrelly in the turns. Looking for a replacement.700 - 40c, running them on a 2019 Specialized Diverge Sport with stock DT Swiss 470 db disc wheels.
