Viper TACTICAL - Poncho Mimetico - V-Cam

Il poncho pesa 412 grammi, misura 205 cm lunghezza 140 larghezza... Cuciture perfette , colore bellissimo, il tessuto è molto robusto, non è un poncho leggerissimo...ha 4 anelli nei lati, ma purtroppo manca anello centrale , si vede nella foto.... Non è un problema , ma l anello centrale facilita il montaggio in tenda ad A. Nel poncho sono presenti laccetti lungo tutti i bordi , più laccio interno per legarlo in vita. Provato una giornata sotto il diluvio, è ha svolto il suo lavoro alla grande. Consigliatissimo!

The perfect camo pattern poncho that best matches my area of interest. The product image by this vendor is poor quality and does not match the actual colors of the poncho, which is richer in tone. Just look at other online images to gain a better sense of its true colors.Also, the tracking info is mostly not informative and incorrect. This product has already been delivered via Royal Mail to USPS in mid-Sept, but order still shows it won't be delivered until the end of Sept. The vendor is located in Scotland and this order arrived in 10 days, not the 2-3 weeks, as estimated.The poncho arrived just in time to test it out in light-moderate rain. The fabric sounds "crisper", when walking in rain, when compared to my other "ripstop" poncho. The waist ties and double-sided button clasps really work great to tuck in the flaps on windy days. It was very easy to slip on and the hood was just the right size to cover and cinch around my head w/hat. But overall, all's good, so far.Otherwise, this poncho is regarded as one of the best for waterproofing, durability, and function. It's quality is worth the price and the wait.

- Vestibilità: sono alto 1,82m per 70kg circa, mi copre fin sotto le ginocchia ed è ampio quanto basta per coprire anche uno zaino, sicuramente fino a 50L, oltre non saprei. Internamente ha una corda per legarlo in vita in modo da non farlo svolazzare e di serie ci sono usciti dei lacci per poterlo fissare a degli alberi ed usarlo come tenda improvvisata (N.B. consiglio di controllare i lacci uno ad uno e di fare dei nodi aggiuntivi FATTI BENE sennò rischiate di perderli alla prima uscita).- Materiale: è spesso quanto basta da non sembrare delicato, comparato con altri poncho di marche famose è sensibilmente più ingombrante e pesante da ripiegato, ma ripeto, non dà l'impressione che durerà poco.A prima vista sono assolutamente soddisfatto.- Resistenza all'acqua: sarebbe da testare sotto un nubifragio per capire quanta acqua può reggere, ma ad occhio sembra molto meglio di tanti poncho super compatti e super leggeri e super tacti-cool che al primo cespuglio li lasci lì. Aggiornerò la recensione non appena ne avrò modo.- Dotazione: laccetti per usarlo come riparo già presenti, è un dettaglio che si apprezza;Arriva in una sacchetta realizzata nello stesso materiale, molto utile per riporlo nello zaino anche da bagnato, ma utilizzando corpetti tattici, zaini o cinturoni con passanti molle è decisamente più pratico metterlo direttamente in una tasca ad hoc senza utilizzare la sacchetta in modo da poterlo tirare fuori e rimetterlo a posto davvero in 10 secondi.Prodotto semplice ed efficace.

Super poncho, le nylon est agréable et sans doute plus résistant à la végétation que le polyester. Il y a une corde à passant intérieur sur le devant pour bien plaquer le poncho au ventre, ainsi qu’une petite corde à chaque angle. Les cordes sont en lacet, ce qui est nul, à remplacer par un truc qui ne devient pas indénouable une fois mouillé.Ce camo est super joli en plus, vraiment un bon poncho.

I bought this in preparation for my deployment to Belize as part of a military deployment last year. We were there for 5 weeks as part of a jungle training package. In true military fashion, it seems enough people felt that being in the jungle in the middle of monsoon season was the perfect time to go (‘winning’). Three weeks of that time was actually embedded in the bush sleeping out on hammocks. It poured down. When I say pour, I mean it literally comes down with so much force, you have to almost shout to someone a couple of feet away to be heard. Some of the heaviest rainfalls I’ve ever seen. And this poncho, was absolutely bombers. I stayed completely dry. It was comfortable too, without getting too hot or clammy either. Sometimes I used it to go over my hammock at night, tied on & as a cover to stop the rainfall getting into my space because the military did not provide hammocks with rain covers & the military issued ponchos are about as waterproof as a second hand tea bag. After all that, 3 weeks of daily use in the bush, it’s still in perfect condition.

Lightweight, easy to store and keeps you dry. Good product!
