From this supplier, oI've bought 8 of these chairs in recent days. My choice was based on the design which I believe to be superior to other variants of hardwood folding chair. I especially like the three position backrest. The chairs arrived packed two to each carton they seemed well padded and packed. However on close examination, the back rest of one chair was shattered (see photo) Sadly, there were many blemished in the supplied hardwood components across all eight chairs. The defects ranged from poorly applied varnish (streaky) to crudely filled cracks and knot holes. This standard of finish could never be described as "furniture grade" and is way below what I expected.The supplied assembly instructions are adequate but minimal. The packing comes with a polythene bay of screws/washers hardware -just sufficient for each chair- so don't lose anything! The supplied "allen" keys are next to useless especially for joints where maximim tightness is a prerequisite. Fortunately as a retired craftworker I was able to use my own, quality tool-kit -plus patience and expertise to get things to come together. It took me about 45 minutes to assemble each chair.In my disappointment, I was tempted to request a refund from the supplies -but I understand I would have to pay return carriage and that is not acceptable. I really like the design of these chairs and without the defects pointed out above they would be perfect.Since I have the skills and materials needed to fix these defects myself, I would now hope that the supplier will offer me some compensation by way of a partial refund for my trouble and the time and materials incurred? I will note any outcome here...

Wir haben die Stühle als Ergänzung zu unseren 20-Jahre-alten Terrassenstühlen gekauft, da diese langsam brüchig werden und wir den ersten gerade aussortieren mussten. Die Stühle kommen in Einzelteilen gemeinsam in einem Karton. Der Zusammenbau war ein kleines Bastelprojekt zusammen mit meinem Sohn. Die Montage war aber zu zweit gut machbar. Das Holz hat eine sehr gute Qualität und die Stühle wirken wertig. Unsere Hochlehner-Polster passen wunderbar und man sitzt sehr bequem. Die Rückenlehnen lassen sich in der Neigung einfach anpassen.Wir haben die Stühle im Zweierpack für 88 Euro bestellt, was im Vergleich zu ähnlichen Angeboten ein gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist. Ich erwähne das extra, da der Preis für diese Stühle immer mal hoch und runter geht.

Passend zu unserem Gartenmöbel gekauft... die Stühle werden als Bausatz geliefert, also selbst zusammenschrauben.Ist nicht allzu schwer, aber zeitaufwändig!
