Love this… have ordered another one for a second bedroom! Really classy.

I ordered this on a bit of a gamble.The light itself is pretty large and the fan really is very effective with the 6 speeds suiting pretty much every need.In terms of light, it is surprisingly bright and can be adjusted to pretty much as dim as you want to get the right brightness .My main issue with this though is that I think the price is pretty steep for what it is and I also found it much more gaudy and, dare I say, tacky than I thought it was.I am sure it will suit the tastes of some but it's not really to my liking in terms of design.I am also unsure how you actually replce the led light once the bulb goes as it looks like a very unique LED

Last year I purchased a small fan light unit that simply plugs into an existing light socket. The fan on this is only about 10" in size and it has a pretty boring looking LED light ring around the edge of it. But, despite these shortcomings for the price it was good and it proved the concept to be very useful.So, when this light unit popped up on my radar it was a no-brainer to get this as an upgrade to the existing unit I already have been using up till now.The main downside if you consider it one is the fitting of the light, while not unduly difficult it does require you to replace the existing lighting rose with a new panel that is provided with this light and wiring it up (ensure you turn off the lighting power at the mains before you start of course). However, if you are reasonably familiar with wiring and fixing you should be able to do this pretty easily as you get step by step instructions which have been well thought out. The light unit itself is also relatively light bearing in mind the size of the unit overall so is easily supported by the supplied mounting plate if it is fitted correctly. Like all things electrical though, if in doubt get an electrician in to do it for you, better safe than sorry.In use the fan is superb, in an average sized room even on the lowest setting it is effective, on its highest it should keep you as cool as it is possible on a hot day, summer will be the test of course. As for the light this is very attractive using a faceted clear ring over the LED lights that give it the look of glittering ice when on. The light is adjustable by use of the supplied remote and can adjust not only the brightness but also the colour temperature to suit your needs. An app is mentioned which potentially may give even more control, but I've not yet tried that as I'm happy with the remote options.Being LED the light is also pretty efficient so should not cost massive amounts of energy to run, similarly the fan uses fairly light clear acrylic blades so the motor should not be over stretched even when it is use for long periods. I'm really looking forward to having this for the coming summer as the extra size will make this even more effective than my old light/fan combination.

Very impressed with the quality of the fans

Quiet, with plenty of airflow options to suit different needs. The remote is responsive, and adjusting brightness or speed is straightforward. The light is bright but not harsh, and the memory function is useful. The fan direction change makes it practical all year round. Even at higher speeds, there’s barely any noise. Installation is straightforward, with most of it already put together. Once mounted, it looks sleek without being intrusive. A reliable addition to any room.
