I used this to adjust many clarinet reeds and it has made playing them more consistent and fun to work on. Much easier to use than others.

I watched a video on YouTube and practiced clipping old reeds before using on my usable reeds. So easy and quick! Crisp cut and perfectly done. Gives new life to reeds requiring a quick tiny cut to remove minute cuts or splits at the tip. Might have to get the V12 trimmer later. If the quality is as good, it is worth the cost as this is.

I use the clipper to adjust my 56 Rue lepic reeds for use on my Vandoren BD 5 mouthpiece. Very easy to use and very accurate. I always get the desired results

先端を0.1 mm精度でカットし、様子を見ながら正確に作業ができる。これはいい！様子をみて手で調整してカットするリードカッタでは、満足のいく調整はできなかったが、これは、柔らかくて使えなかったリードが良い具合に調整可能。値段は高いが、自分でリードを調整できるのは、はずれのリードが減り、かつ達成感大。リードの先端カットにはカッターの切れ味も大事だが、細かい調整は不可欠。でないと、調整自体に当たり外れが出てリードの箱の中から使えるものを選んでいるのと変わらなくなる。値段は高いが、これだけ精度高くカットできるのはバンドーレンだけ。調整するリードの長さはバンドーレン専用だが、少し短いアルンドスも自作スペーサをいれれば調整可能。アルンドスのリードをバンドーレンの先端カット形状にすると、厚みのあるまろやかな音色に（自己評価）。どこにも売っていないリードの完成。買ってよかった。

I was tempted to dock at it one star for the seemingly excessively high price, but it is so incredibly well-built that I am giving it five stars anyway. I have previously used reed trimmers from Rigotti and Cordier, and have always felt like using them presented a fairly high risk of ruining the reed I was trying to improve. This device is so precisely made, solidly built, and easy to use that there is simply no comparison to the others. It is very accurate and consistent, and while I was hesitant to spend this much, now that I am using it I am finding it was well worth the money.
