It is easy to be a little lazy when jacking up a vehicle, I'll admit that, stupidly, I've used a number of different materials (pieces of rubber, cardboard, etc) between a bottle jack and the vehicle when doing a quick lift for a tire change to prevent scratching the car (I never go under the vehicle with just a bottle jack in place though!). A product like this support pad is a great, simple, safer solution than my homespun versions. This fits nicely over the bottle jack head and gives firm support, yet has a small amount of flexibility to improve grip. The only thing to mention is make sure you note the size of your bottle jack to make sure the pad will fit. It works on my smaller bottle jacks but did not fit on my 10 ton bottle jack as the plate is around 31.75 mm, bigger than this pad is meant to fit.

Die Auflage kam ordentlich verpackt und ohne Beschädigungen bei mir an.Die Kunststoffscheibe ist mit Rillen und Kerben versehen, um einen sichern Halt des Wagenhebers zu unterstützen.Das Material ist in Ordnung, auch wenn es hier bessere Varianten gibt, die etwas weicher sind und so besseren Halt bieten.Auch von der Verarbeitung her geht das besser, denn es fanden sich doch einige Kunststoffreste daran, die zum Teil auch etwas scharfkantig waren.Man erhält hier ein nützliches Tool, wenn man ein Fahrzeug mit dem Wagenheber sicher und schonend anheben will. Material und Verarbeitung sind nicht perfekt, aber dafür erhält man es für einen sehr fairen Preis.

…..it’s simply a pad that sits on top of your bottle jack. A little crude looking, but so what, it works!
