Bisher der einzige Kajakträger der mein Sit-On-Top Angelkajak sicher halten konnte. Ich hatte vorher den Thule Hull-a-Port Pro im Einsatz, der mich jedoch nicht überzeugt hatte, da deutlich wackliger. Hier ruckelt gar nichts und die Kipp-Funktion zum Be- und Entladen ist super, weil man dann das schwere und unhandliche Kajak etwas weniger hoch heben muss. Insbesondere beim Entladen spielt der Träger seine Vorteile aus. Die Absperrbarkeit ist ein nettes Zusatzfeature. Einen Stern würde ich aber abziehen weil die schwarze Abdeckhaube der Spanngurte (darüber ist der Klemmmechanismus zugänglich) gern runter fällt wenn nicht abgesperrt und die Enden der Spanngurte sollten auch überarbeitet werden. Dadurch, dass sie so weich und gleichzeitig aber wegen dem Drahtseil dick sind ist das Durchfädeln etwas mühsam. Für 230€ sollte könnte das besser gelöst sein. Insgesamt aber ein durchdachter super Träger der das Aufladen des Kajaks wesentlich beschleunigt.

My kayak was too large amd heavy for J Bars so I bought these which have a heavier capacity. This system also allows me to load the kayak single handedly with the aid of a piece of drainpipe and a sheet to protect the car. I load from the side, lift the front up onto the car (resting on the drainpipe) where I slide it up from the back of the kayak onto the roof and into the racks. Can't do that with J Bars.
