Relatively easy to fit. It was the one weak point of that laptop model & here is the replacement to allow that laptop model to keep on going.

Simple cable. just does the job

If you've ever walked into a charging cable while it's connected to a laptop or other device, you may have experienced problems with getting a good connection afterwards. Following a couple of collisions, I put up with a lot of frustrating messing with the lead for months, and things got worse to the point where I could only charge my laptop with the plug hanging half out of the socket.Having used a multimeter to establish that the cable itself was fine, I finally bit the bullet and bought these. I was lucky enough to have a Dell Inspiron, all that was required was to remove the casing from the underside, disconnect the battery, and unscrew one of the hinges connecting the screen to the keypad. The replacement went in after a bit of encouragement (the cable leading to the socket is a bit stiff, and has to be trained around a couple of bends). Then reverse the previous steps and you're done.All as good as new now, with a spare in case I'm clumsy (and forgetful) enough to blunder into the cable again!

Easy to install and got a laptop up and working again very quickly. Much better than sending into a repair shop
