The Drop Jones Classic Slim Blazer Donna

The Drop Women's Jones Classic Slim Blazer is a great basic. It looks best with work clothes, but is versitile enout to dress up certain casual outfits. It has the quality feel and fit that The Drop is known for and still looks good after months of regular use. The stitches are straight and durable. I think it's a great item to have in your wardrobe.

I am 5'3, and I should know by now that this brand is not for short people. I ordered a medium because I have wide shoulders, and it fits in the shoulders but the arms are egregiously long. Like the sleeve goes past my fingernails when my arm is hanging down at my hip. I suppose I could roll up the sleeves, but then that changes the whole look.

I'm genuinely unsure who would look flattery in this cut. I ordered the appropriate size, but the boxyness of the torso really adds a lot of weight unnecessarily.The material is nice and it does feel comfortable to wear. This just leaves me more curious as to why the design is so...portly. I can be big without being big.

This Slim Blazer by The Drop is not as slim as I originally thought it would have been. While the arms are slimmer and fit better, the length of the sleeves is awkwardly long where it would hide half of my hands. As someone who is 5'10", I would consider myself taller than average but the arm sleeves still ended up being too long for my liking. If you want a visual, I would say the length of the sleeve is the same as the model in the photo of their listing description. Maybe the sleeves are intended to be this long... but it's not my cup of tea. The body area is not fitted like a slim blazer should. I suppose the fit could be better altered if I prefer a slimmer fit. If left unaltered, it makes my midsection appear boxy and makes me look like a rectangle, which is not flattering whatsoever. In terms of the quality of the fabric, I would say it's decent and thick enough to keep you warm in an office setting while also being breathable. Keep in mind that this blazer is dry clean only.
