Ich durfte die ROWOOD Holzleinwände testen.In diesem Set bekommt man vier quadratische 20 x 20 cm Holzleinwände aus Birke. Die vier Leinwände werden eingeschweißt und mit einem sicheren Kantenschutz aus Plastik geliefert.👍 Die Holzoberfläche fühlt sich glatt und hochwertig an. Es gibt keine scharfen Kanten, nichts splittert, keine Tackernadeln oder Nägel. Der Geruch ist angenehm holzig ohne Chemie. Die Holzplatte ist 3 mm dick und stabil.👍 Diese Leinwände laden zu Kreativität ein und sind schön und sauber verarbeitet. Man kann sowohl die Vorder- als auch die Rückseite bemalen, verzieren oder bearbeiten. Ich bin sehr zufrieden!

As wooden canvas panels go, these are quite expensive, but I think the quality just about justifies the price.The four panels arrive well protected, shrink wrapped with plastic corner protectors, so they should reach you in pristine condition. The construction and finish is extremely good. Edges are neatly and accurately cut and they're sanded smooth. Nicely, there's no visible pinning or gluing, so they're ready to go straight out of the pack. The upper layer is relatively thick, giving a nice solid surface to work on. Though they're sanded, there's still a nice natural grain to the birch wood, so they'd be great for pyrography and anything where the wood will be a visible feature. The backs of the panels are finished just as nicely as the front, so you could use these for box relief projects too.One thing I would like to see addressed on the packaging or in the product listing is the origin of the wood used, and whether it comes from sustainable forests. I couldn't find any information about this.There are cheaper wooden canvas panels out there, but they're generally shoddily made or need some finishing to get them up to scratch. If you're looking for some high quality wooden panels, then I think you'd struggle to find any better than these.

Generally these “canvases” are well-made and sturdy. Unfortunately one arrived with a small defect – presumably a tiny knot, that meant the surface dimpled in instead of being smooth. To make use of it it will need filling and sanding down again afterwards. Another has very slight grooves as if the sandpaper was too rough, and I am going to have to rub this one down too. The other two are ok, but this still means 50% fail to provide the “flawless surface” that was promised. For the price I had expected they would ALL be ready to use without additional prep work.

Tolle Holzleinwände in guter Qualität, glatte Oberfläche, nicht verzogen, und ein praktisches Set aus mehreren Leinwänden, sodass man sich perfekt künstlerisch austoben und verwirklichen kann.
