Although this printer has the extra expense of special paper, the cost of the special paper is still less than ridiculously overpriced ink. It works great as a home use or home office printer. It would probably be fine for most black-and-white children’s homework projects as well, even though the paper feels different than standard paper. It certainly will not work for all printing purposes, but it is a convenient and compact option for most everyday projects.

Comes with everything you need to get started. It has a case, various sizes of thermal paper rolls, and USB cables. The printer prints with expected quality. The paper will come out curled if it starts on a roll.To use the printer you need an app or to download the OS drivers. The device was not plug and play for me since it can't use a generic driver and the driver wasn't built in. I personally don't like installing random software. The app is similar for me since you have to share your files in the app from a company I've never heard of.Once you are comfortable with any potential privacy concerns, the printer is fine and useful as a portable device. Bluetooth connects easily and starts quickly. There are not any settings available on the device itself, just a button for power and a test print page.

The printer was easy to set up. Just download the app, turn the printer on and follow the steps for connecting. Be sure to set up the paper before printing for the first time.The print quality is excellent, very clear. The printers small size and, included convenient travel case make it easy to travel with and it includes a variety of paper roll sizes. The price is good for a travel printer.

I have had a few of these portable thermal printers and I have to say that this one is a good value. I love that it comes with a carrying case, as that makes it easy to toss in your bag and go. You can use different size thermal paper with it, which is pretty cool. I like that this allows you to use a thermal paper roll that goes inside of the printer as well as being able to feed one sheet through at a time. It prints quickly and makes giving receipts or documents to customers on site much easier. It also allows you to get wet signatures on documents without having to make another trip or asking a customer to come into the office. It is a very useful, affordable thermal printer that is easy to operate.
