I purchased this "daylight" fluorescent tube to replace the "warm white" flourescent tube in the bathroom. Wow! What a difference in brightness. It was true daylight in night time darkness. My first thoughts were "brilliant". When I exited the bathroom onto the landing, the landing light looked so gloomy and yellow. I put up with the new bathroom light for approximately 1 week and then decided it was too bright making the landing and bedroom lights appear so dull. I have now replaced the "daylight" fluorescent tube with a Sylvania 2400 lumen 32 watt "warm white" light and the house is now back to normal.I would recommend this light if you want a bright daylight fluorescent tube but if you're used to warm white then perhaps the warm white option is for you.
