It does the job protecting alloys but I expect it won’t last long! You get what you pay for so I’ll give it 4 out of 5.

This tyre changer foot is very well made and works well.The tough plastic is very strong and there's a nice return edge to protect alloy wheels.

My cheapy tyre changer has a steel end unit which does work but scratches the wheel rim. My classic car has powder coated wheels and I don't want them damaged if possible. This unit is plastic so should be good and safe to use. Only time will tell if it is man enough long term.
