Quality is excellent. Looks like it will hold up to packing and traveling. Style is a good for travel hat, but not for hipsters. I have another non uncrushable hat with more style for local use that would not work for traveling. Size was major concern as this is not elastic fit. Measuring head crown size proved correct. Arrived crushed and went back to shape almost instantly. Needed to use a little steam to get final form. An unexpected feature was that hat brim front and rear will lock into down or up giving several looks and protection options. Material appears breathable with visible air passages in material, a nice feature. Very pleased for my intended purpose.

I was in the market for a hat to shield my head from the sun while sightseeing on vacations. I wanted something light, comfortable, and stylish (hey, I'm going to Europe) and the key is that I wanted it to be packable. One reviewer wasn't sure if it would stand up to being packed. It arrived in a packable state in a small box and I've tried it out. It holds up well but the manufacturer states that it shouldn't remain in a crushed state for an extended period. In other words, don't put it at the bottom of a big suitcase for a week. It has an Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) of 50+ which is excellent. As to the size, I purchased the combined L/XL size. I have a fairly large head and it fit well but if you tend to be at the extreme high side for head size, it may be too tight. I like the fedora style and I get a lot of compliments on it.
