The Sun Tour 2 notch freewheels are notoriously difficult to remove. It's not this tool's fault, it's the design of the freewheel notches: If the freewheel has been on for a long time, and/or if someone has used a lot of muscle pedaling, just two small notches doesn't give you enough for a tool--any tool--to grab. I used a long adjustable wrench on the tool and pounded on it with a heavy hammer to no avail. The tool kept popping out of the freewheel.So here's the fix (which I learned from a bike repair site): run your axle bolt through the wheel and this tool, and *lightly* tighten the nut (without the cone) onto the tool, and the cone on the other end, to hold the tool in place while you pound. (You'll probably need to run the cone out some in order for the axle to be long enough.) Then you can pound without the tool popping out. BUT once the freewheel loosens, be sure to remove the axle, since you can't unscrew the freewheel more than a fraction of a turn with the axle in place--indeed, there should be a tiny amount of slop in the axle when you're pounding.Good luck! And yes, this is the right tool for the Sun Tour two notch freewheel. (Look on-line for videos to help choose the right freewheel or cassette remover.)

Arrivo veloce. Un pochino costoso ma funziona. Messo nella morsa infilato da sopra la ruota e fatto.

Grace a cet outil, j'ai démonté la roue libre de mon vieux Gitane de 1974La roue libre, une Cyclo 72. J'ai mis donc l'outil dans les 2 ergots, j'ai vissé mon blocage rapide dessus pour éviter que ca rippe et de flinguer l'outil. et j'ai dévissé avec une clé a cliquet , grande taille et une douille de 26. La roue posée au sol et j'ai desserré sans difficultés. au préalable, j'avais mis du dégrippant.

Im Rahmen einer Fahrradrestaurierung hat dieser Zahnkranzabzieher leider nicht gepasst. Mangels Erfahrung dachte ich, dass dieses Produkt wohl auf die meisten Kränze mit zwei Aussparungen passen würde (Shimano Dura Ace), war aber hier leider nicht der Fall. Habe de Nasen passend zurechtgeschliffen, danach hat es für mich funktoniert. Nichtsdestotrotz ein gutes und solides Produkt.

Anche io ho dovuto limare un po' i dentini, roba da 5 minuti, per smontaggio ghiera 5 velocità bici d'epoca Leri. Bisogna esercitare una leva molto forte con il cerchio, ma ha funzionato bene.

Volevo sistemare un raggio di una bici da corsa anni 80, ben 3 meccanici mi avevano detto che nn si poteva fare...con quest'estrattore in due minuti ho smontato il pignone e sistemato la ruota. Ottimo acquisto e spedizione rapidissima

Ho acquistato questo prodotto per rimuovere un pacco pignoni a 4 velocita' di una bici vecchia che mi e' stata donata. Sul pacco era scritto 'Corsa Extra'. In seguito a un commento ho realizzato che sarebbe stato necessario limarlo per farlo combaciare con la mia ruota. Ed e' stato infatti necessario limarlo. Dopo averlo limato, (non ci sono voluti piu' di 5 minuti) ho utilizzato una morsa per smontare la ruota. La ruota credo fosse li' da circa 60 anni e l'aggeggio ha fatto un ottimo lavoro. Ho smontato il pacco in meno di 10 minuti, dopo che 2 negozi di bici non erano stati in grado.

L'estrattore svolge il suo compito alla perfezione. Per le ruote libere filettate Regina e simili ho semplicemente limato un mm circa dai due denti senza comprometterne la funzionalità. Sarebbe utile che nella scheda fosse indicata anche le misure dei denti di blocco/sblocco.

Nothing to complain about, it is exactly as described and worked with my sun tour cassette. The part is built strong.

Acquistata per smontare una ruota libera Everest 6v da una bici da corsa fine anni 80. La chiave in questione è per ruote libere suntour, che hanno le tacche leggermente più larghe rispetto alla mia (e quindi anche rispetto alle Regina o altri marchi italiani). Poco male, un colpetto di lima sui fianchi dei denti e la chiave entra alla perfezione.
