We use this wax for decorating candles for Christmas. We learned about using decorating wax when my husband was stationed in Germany. You don’t need very much of the wax to decorate a candle and the candles make lovely, individual gifts. Over the years we have colored decorating wax with our children, my classes of children with disabilities, and now our grandchildren. It’s lots of fun and very individual. You can tear the wax; cut with a plastic knife, scissors, or an x-acto knife; and/or use cutters

I love the gold the most. its so pretty. be sure you have candles that contrast color with it though so you can see it pop!

It really IS gold. Good quality! The Germans know how to make good stuff! It's a bit pricey, but worth the cost!

This is labeled as "decorating" wax but it works beautifully as modeling wax - I use it in my classroom and it is very satisfying to work with - nice smell, beautiful shimmer - the kids are very drawn to it!
