La scheda backplane rimovibile per 3 unità HSB3SATSASBA consente l'installazione e la commutazione rapida tra unità da 3.5" dal lato anteriore de computer trasformando due alloggiamenti da 5.25" in un'interfaccia con funzione hot-swap Per il collegamento di massimo tre dischi rigidi (HDD) SATA o SAS da 3.5".
Per una maggiore versatilità, l'alloggiamento per disco rigido può interfacciarsi con dischi rigidi SATA I/II/III e SAS I/II: una soluzione ottimale per le applicazioni di sistemi aziendali.
Perun metodo di installazione e rimozione delle unità rapido e sicuro, la scheda backplane presenta pulsanti di espulsione e un design con bloccaggio a chiave per evitare il guasto delle unità, l'alloggiamento offre un'ottimo dissipazio e de calore grazie alla ventola integrata e un resistente box esterno in alluminio con fessure.

Ich bin mit diesem Produkt sehr zufrieden. Die montage ist einfach und alles ist mitgeliefert. Die Festplatten lassen sich sehr einfach einschieben.

Davvero un ottimo prodotto, soprattutto per quanto riguarda la dissipazione del calore degli hard disk al suo interno. Circa 10 gradi di differenza tra gli hard disk dentro il case del pc e quelli al suo interno. Robusto e di buona fattura. Consigliato

No issues, fan on lowest setting is still audible but not loud imo, measured 30-35db with a phone app

Ottimo backplane, solido anche se sprovvisto di tray per gli HDD. L'inserimento del disco è agevole e si innesta subito alla chiusra dello sportello. Trasferimento dati in linea con sata3. Unica nota negativa è la ventola: molto rumorosa anche se settata al minimo della velocità. Personalmente ho ovviato sostituendo la ventola stock con una Noctua NF-R8 redux-1800 PWM collegata direttamente alla MB ed ora il server è super silenzioso.

Non è la prima volta che acquisto prodotti della Startech la reputo un ottima marca, anche questa volto sono rimasto soddisfatto del prodotto. Backplane ottimo, robusto e facile da installare, i 4 hdd funzionanti da subito senza intoppi, se proprio vogliamo trovare un difetto la ventola anche se impostata su low si fa sentire, a parte questo ne straconsiglio cmq l'acquisto.

Fa il suo mestiere ma gli sportellini sono di scarsa consistenza e fanno pensare che, per evitare che vi restino in mano o si deformino, sia meglio non sostituire i dischi troppo spesso.La ventola inoltre è rumorosa: anche impostandola al minimo si sente distintamente; al massimo (impostazione che con dischi che non scaldano troppo non credo serva) è anche fastidiosa.La valutazione dunque è forse generosa ma tiene conto che l'apparecchio può ad esempio essere tranquillamente utilizzato per un NAS da tenere in uno sgabuzzino. Certamente non ve lo suggerisco se intendete installarlo nel PC che tenete nello studio per cambiare il sistema operativo ogni volta che ne avete bisogno. il problema che di queste dimensioni e con questa capienza non c'è molto... Saluti a tutti.

I have four of these. One is a much older unit. Still working fine. These now have better light indicators but also they have two small fans rather than the one large fan. I think the large fan was better. But no complaints. The molux cable adapters are essential to provide power both to the sata and the indicator connections. That is a bit annoying. But the price, the build, the performance and convenience, make this a superior, workable, viable and valuable solution to having external, easily accessible drives in your PC. This makes archiving, and loading files much easier. No need to open the computer, and get own on hands and knees. No need to have separate power supply and wiring and this utilizes the motherboards SATA ports which unless you had a lot of internal drives would be unused anyway. I like to keep one or two internal drives and the rest in these so I can move them around as needed.

This enclosure remembers which HDDs were on and which were off on power cycle. I saw no information regarding this feature, but I'm writing about it.My main usage is a few HDDs which I want to remain in the system (to minimize SATA connector insertion/removal cycles on other cheap single-drive docks), but I don't want them powered at each system start (to minimize HDD spinup wear). This backplane offers this feature and I'm very happy with it.However it's alarm start buzzing at every shutdown because it seems to be still powered (need to see from where) and it detects the fan has stopped. This is annoying as I have to push it's reset button at every shutdown. The 1st time the buzzer started was when I plugged my USB cable from my KVM, with no other cable connected (not even power cable). I will need to experiment with this, as I'm sure it will drive me mad within a month.Update: it seems the device is very sensitive, as my monitor which was not powered through my UPS is producing some grounding problems and the bay interprets as the PC is still on, thus the alarm.
