I wanted a larger broom for spreading bleach/sodium hypochlorite across a wider area as I try to get rid of black lichen off my patio. The softer bristles on my existing brooms did not have enough strength to allow me to scrub away the dirt etc. But this works brilliantly. Incredible strong and rigid bristles.Love the extending handle, allowing me to tailor the length of the handle to myself or my wife..This is going to be great for moss out the front on the sidewalk, moss on the concrete path in my garden, and most importantly all the growth on the patio slabs.Seems to be good value for the quality you get.

When the box arrived I thought there had been a mistake as it was only around 45cm long - "pretty short brush", I thought.Turns out the box contained the brush head and four sections that can either be screwed together in entirety, leading to a ~5 1/2ft length, or cut one or two out for a shorter brush.Genius! So first off, five and a half feet might seem quite long for a brush but for a patio brush it's perfect (assuming you're of "median" stature) in that you can lay into the brush with an almost 45 degree angle and get these wires really working into the decking grooves. Talking of getting into the groove, the wire brush is fab - soft enough to get in between the grooves and stiff enough to work the last five years of crusty barbecue, leaves and bird remains out.And what if you're below median height? Then you take a length or two out of the handle and get more with less! No more the tyranny of single length brooms! In short (no pun intended): effective brush, solid and comfortable handle, myriad of deployment heights supported.Recommended.

When I opened the package when it arrived I was a little worried about the strength of the handle and the fact that the bristles felt a lot softer than I'd imagined they would be. I put the brush together in a few seconds and put it to use and wow! Very, very impressive.I'm 6'2" and the handle is plenty long enough for me. Although the parts screw together it seems very strong and well made. I wouldn't use this in heavy industry but for just about anything around the house or workshop it's fantastic. The bristles are stiffer and seem stronger than a normal yard brush, but they still have some 'give' in them. I used the brush on our patio and was super pleased at how it worked. It wasn't just sweeping up the dirt and rubbish, it was actually cleaning the pavers off! I'll have to be carful not to cause any damage to decorative stone, but for general sweeping up and cleaning this thing is awesome. During this summer I'll be using it with patio cleaner fluid to give everything a good scrub.Overall a great brush that's quickly become my 'go-to' for the garage, workshop and outdoors. Recommended.

This 30cm broom comes boxed with the head separate from the handle, which takes just seconds to screw together. The stainless steel poles fit well into each other, no issues, and then there is an attachment on the wooden head for the last handle piece. The great thing is that you can make it up to as long as you need, so use two to four poles depending on how tall you are.The steel wire bristle is firm but not rigid, which was my concern. To scrub it needs to flex and this brush head does that very well. They say is has 'superior scrubbing power for effectively removing tough stain, moss and algae', so I was straight out to my stone patio which is waiting for its yearly spring clean. I literally went over part of one of the slabs 3 times, that's all, and I could see the difference (see photo). This was using it dry with very little effort (although if I do the whole patio, my arms are going to ache!). It worked like a charm and didn't seem to damage the stone, but this is something I will watch. It looks like it's going to be a great addition to my tool collection. It's well made, and priced fairly, and it's going to be great at scrubbing away the winter detritus that seems to love both my stone patio and wooden decking. So far, so good! Happy to recommend.

I wasn't expecting too much from this brush as it looks a bit basic. But I am quite surprised by it. The bristle block is a crude chunk of wood but it doesn't need to be pretty, just solid and strong is all, and it is.Also the handle being 4 sections, I didn't think would be up to much but the sections screw deep into each other and the assembled broom feels surprisingly weighty and sturdy. It mentions stainless steel in the listing and my magnet suggests the bristles may well be, which is good as wire brushes can be bad for rusting. The handle was non magnetic too, I suspect its aluminium but I guess it could be stainless too.I have a deteriorated patio to rescue and renovate weather permitting so this will be great with some chemical cleaners to scrub the worst areas, that jet washing alone can't cope with. The current price is £15.97 which seems to be competitive, the only concern is some of the parts like the handle attachment to the head is plastic while some others are metal, its a likely place of weakness. So gets a strong 4 stars as its a pleasing product generally and better than it looked on paper.
