New camera stuff should be clever.That's what the T10 stix are.Normal clasp openers on aluminium legs. Replaceable metal leg tips for rocky, muddy or just outside and rubber feet for the studio.This tripod is a perfect replacement set if you already have a ball head or a fluid head. Or even a great purchase if you are on the way up.I paired it with the Smallrig small fluid video head.One of the clever bits is the reversible screw at the tripod top. It will take a normal head or a gimbal or camera thread (the smaller one) directly. Handy if you want to do moving timelapses with the gimbal.The T10 when fully extended is way tall, I am 6foot 2 and its at my eye level without the head on, that makes it small and light enough to travel with but its also big enough as a second in the studio.It is pretty stable on its own, add a bad to the provided hook and it gets really stable.Easy to fit on a pack, pop one of the legs in the drinks pocket of your rucsac and use the strap to lock the other legs together. It is pretty small folded up too, well small enough to chuck inside the rucsac or the travel case.Comes with allen keys, replaceable feet and a nice little bag.Apart from it being really well designed and well built, it cost 59 quid.......!Let me say that again, it is 59 quid.If you have a ball mount or fluid head and are looking to either get a travel tripod or a replacement for yourself, you will find these really tough to beat.I looked at all the fancy new stuff, 150 to 650 quid. But how can you beat the T10 at 59 quid.1.1 kilo without the head? Come on, these are a steal.I do not work for Smallrig. Lol. I am just obsessed with good design that makes my field camera work easier and thus more enjoyable.Great job Smallrig, give your design team a pat on the back.100 per cent recommended for travel and the studio.

Stabilt och bra, många möjligheter.

Das Stativ ist eher ein Heavy Duty Stativ als ein Leichtgewicht.Die Konstruktion ist sehr gut damit hat man ein relativ kleines packmass, das eine Bein lässt sich sehr gut ablösen, da auf der Kupplung steht in welche Richtung man drehen muss um es zu lösen oder wieder dran zu machen.Es echt toll verarbeitet ohne dass es irgendwo kratzt oder irgendwo anschlägt.Alles ist leichtgängig, jedoch nicht zu labbrig um mehr Druck auf die Beine zu bekommen ist ein Haken in dem mittleren Rohr verbauten man seine Kameratasche dranhängen kann um mit dem Gewicht zu arbeiten und es hängt immer mittig zur Achse.Durch die ausziehbaren Beine kann man es in der Höhe variieren und das mittlere Rohr worauf der Kopf geschraubt wird ist auch ausziehbar und man kann herrlich damit arbeiten und die Höhe einstellen die man braucht.Made in China als Schimpfwort passt hier auf keinen Fall.Ich würde es genauso wieder kaufen.

Ce trépied arrive dans une sacoche qui permet de tout rassembler. Il y a dans le kit des pointes qui viennent completer les pieds en caoutchouc. Par contre il faut ajouter une tete pour l'utiliser avec un appareil.A l'usage, c'est precis et sans jeu, les clics de blocage sont exemptes de reproche, le calage est bon et le deblocage se fait sans forcer. A la rigueur l'articulation des pieds est legerement dure mais il vaut mieux ca qu'une articulation trop libre. Il peut etre vraiment petit, comme vraiment très haut et les possibilités de reglages sont vraiment nombreux pour optimiser la stabilité. Il y a d'ailleur un crochet, amovible, pour permettre de lester le trepied avec des poids. Malgré tout, meme déplié a fond il est quand meme pas si branlant : suivant le poids de votre appareil ca peut ne pas etre utile de lester.En plus, en devissant le bon pied et en devissant le tube de support de tete, on peut combiner le tout en monopied, ce qui un vrai plus pour les plus mobile avec des appareils et objectifs lourds.Je n'ai pas trouvé de defauts a ce pied, pas meme l'encombrement ou le poids tant il est léger et compact. Pour autant le metal, qui semble bien de l'alliage d'aluminium, n'a pas l'air de plier facilement et ca semble vraiment robuste. Pas meme le prix qui est vraiment accessible quand on voit le tarif des marques populaires...Ca merite bien les 5 etoiles pour ma part
