I am professional wedding photographer and professional wildlife photographer.I have tried various local tripods as well as branded tripods.Good things about this triopd is-- minimum height is quite low and good for most of situations.- easy to carry in standard cameea bag.- despite the aluminium build, weight is very less.- I can easily use my Nikon D850 with 500mm f4 FL lens.

Posseggo già un cavalletto Sirui del quale sono contento e, per questo motivo, ho acquistato un monopiede della stessa marca. Il Sirui P 306 è compatto, leggero, resistente e può montare altri accessori della stessa marca. Inoltre il rapporto qualità prezzo è assolutamente vantaggioso. Ovviamente non è confrontabile con oggetti dello stesso tipo di levatura professionale e con prezzi decisamente più alti. Complessivamente sono contento dell'acquisto e lo consiglio a tutti coloro i quali ne vogliano fare un uso non professionale

Trattandosi di Sirui non avevo dubbi sulla qualità. Leggero e robusto (ma non leggerissimo), ben costruito nello stile Sirui, appunto. I serraggi delle sezioni sono a corsa breve e stringono perfettamente senza bisogno di essere forzati. E' possibile, ovviamente, aggiungere una testa casomai servisse. Io ho scelto una Manfrotto per non dover sostituire la piastra a sgancio rapido (Manfrotto su tutti i corpi macchina). Prezzo ottimo, prodotto consigliatissimo.

Mine arrived today. It is the fifth Sirui product that I have bought over the past couple of years. The reason that I keep buying Sirui products is because they are fantastic. They are well made, well thought out and extremely good value for money. This latest purchase is no exception.It is strong enough to hold my Nikon D610 and Sigma 150-500mm lens combination when I don't want to take my heavier equipment with me.I have paired this monopod with a Sirui L-10 head which is a tilting head only. This choice of head is ideal. I do not need a panning head for stills but sometimes need the ability to tilt when my forward motion is restricted, for example, when in a hide and a subject appears low down and in front of the hide. In this type of situation the camera may need to be removed from the monopod quickly or the ability to tilt the camera may be required. The L-10 allows for both of these options.The P306 is smaller and lighter than I imagined it would be. There is a carbon fibre version available too but the weight saving is only a couple of ounces and I could not justify the extra cost for so little extra benefit.The monopod feels great in the hand, chunkier than I expected. There is no wobble in any of the sections which all open and lock with minimal movement.I was initially put off by the amount of leg sections as I felt that it may take too long to set up and put away but I was wrong. My Sirui tripod has similar leg sections to this monopod and it takes a while to set up but that is because the leg sections are multiplied by three. It only takes a few moments to set up this monopod. All of the leg sections lock up solidly.I realise that many purists will use only the thickest leg sections but I prefer to use the bottom sections first and then use the top (thickest) section for the last few inches of height. This is because if you need to lower (or raise) the thinest section when it is furthest away from you, then you will have to hold the monopod by the middle or turn it upside down and do this repeatedly until the disired height is required. That seems a bit too much like hard work to me and counter-productive. With this monopod all of the sections should be rigid enough to counteract any wobble.I'd say that if you are thinking about buying this monopod then just do it. I doubt very much that you will be disappointed. There is a six year warranty included which tells me that Sirui have a lot of faith in their products.Pro's. EverythingCon's. None. The only negative thing is that in the listing they say a bag is included. The only bag that came with mine was the clear plastic protective wrapping inside the box, so if you are expecting a bag you may be disappointed.This was not a problem for me as I already have other tripod/monopod/lens cases etc in the attic as they are not needed and would never be used.

Ottimo. Robusto, stabile, ben costruito nella sua semplicità . Buono anche il prezzo. Comodo anche il gancio per portarlo attaccato allo zaino o alla cintura.

I had bought two of the Sirui P-306 monopods at the same time. One for me and one for my daughter. The monopod does collapse enough so that I was able to pack both of them into my carry-on luggage for out trip to the UK. I did have to take off the ball heads though. The twist locks worked very smooth and secured quite well. I would like to note that when each section is fully extended and locked into position you do get a bit of flex in the monopdod. I'm a leaner, and I lean on the monopod to steady my camera for the shot. I was able to minimize the flexing by moving about 1/4-1/2in of each section back in before locking. I have seen many online videos stating this should be done no matter which monopod you own. Before I gave the Sirui to my daughter I showed her mine to gauge her reaction about having one, since she never expressed an interest in it. I removed the compass from mine, and the first thing she asked about was to silly compass! When she open her box she was extremely happy to see that hers had a compass. Goes to show that Sirui knew what they were doing when they included the compass. The strap itself is non adjustable, ok for me though. The padded grip is nice and secure, doesn't slide or move. The ground spike is easy to operate, I haven't had to use it though. I think that rocks and dirt may clog the opening if you don't have the spike extended.I would definitely recommend the Sirui P-306 Monopod to you. If you are budget minded and unsure if you'll use a monopod, this Sirui monopod is perfect. I'm 74" and once I added a ball-head to this monopod it was the perfect height, and I even had to collapse it a little. Which only made it more steady. My daughter is 68" tall and she has no issues with using it either. We love our Sirui P-306 Monopods!

Per quel che costa é un mostro!Leggero, compatto, e davvero robusto, manco è spingere tanto si chiude quindi regge tranquillamente gli 8kg dichiarati. Unica pecca: sull'attacco a vite non vi é nessuna gomma e quindi non é il massimo alluminio contro reflex...

monopiede solido e funzionale grazie anche alle sezione che lo compongono . grazie al suo relativo peso (anche con la testa montata) ed alle ridotte dimensioni da chiuso e' molto utile per viaggiaree.Si puo' estendere fino a m.1.85 circa e questo puo' essere funzionale per chi e' piu' alto della media.consigliato.

Prodotto veramente eccezionale per qualità e prezzo!!!non dò il massimo solo perché è un pò ferraginoso il processo di estensione della gamba. Comodo per tutto sia per l'utilizzo poggiando per terra la gamba sia perché l'attrezzo può essere anche appoggiato con l'aiuto di un marsupio alla parte addominale. E' utilissimo per la caccia fotografica, pesa poco, ma tiene bene la fotocamera con un teleobiettivo di un kg e mezzo. Lo consiglio vivamente (in verità il Sirui con la gamba in carbonio è da preferire).

PRO:- piccolissimo da chiuso- tutto esteso è perfetto per chi è alto (nel mio caso 185 cm)- molto leggero- materiali di ottima fattura- grande sensazione di robustezza- il gancio e la bussola possono tornare utili- svitando il piedino inferiore compare un puntale in acciaio, può tornare utile- non avendo i ganci di sblocco nelle sezioni, se vi cade non si romperà niente (al contrario del vecchio Manfrotto che avevo!)CONTRO:- al momento nessuno!
