Cercavo un compromesso tra stabilità peso ingombro e prezzo, cosa non facile perchè a qualcosa bisogna rinunciare per forza.Invece dopo molta ricerca e in base all'esperienza acquisita nel tempo con altri prodotti sono riuscito a trovare l'articolo giusto, che per un fotografo è assaiimprobabile.Questo treppiede è stabile con zoom 600 anche con vento moderato, le clip che chiudono le gambe sono salde e sicure ma non dure,il peso (alluminio) è proporzionato alla robustezza (elevata), la testa secondo me ha qualche problema ma io l'ho sostituita con un da 30 kg con frizione morbida, ora è perfetto.L'altezza massima è discreta e sicura per un cavalletto compatto, i puntali dei piedini in acciaio sono a scomparsa per evitare di perdere i tappini in gomma da qualche parte, e chiuso si aggangia a qualsiasi zaino senza sporgere in lunghezza. Sono felice di questo acquisto e spero di esservi stato utile in questa recenzione. Ciao

A truly excellent travel tripod. Light, folds down small, and can handle plenty of weight. The components all have the quality feel I've come to expect from Sirui.The flip locks were a key feature of this tripod for me. I often shoot at the beach, and have yet to find twist locks that don't quickly accumulate sand, requiring a complete disassembly to clean effectively. I haven't had any such issue with the flip locks on this tripod, though. After plenty of exposure to sand, dust, and mud, this tripod hasn't needed more than a quick rinse off.Take note of the unfolded height of this tripod, as it's definitely on the short side. I'm 5'6", and it's just tall enough for me to use without crouching with the legs and center column fully extended. I mostly leave the center column unextended for stability, though, so I'm doing a fair bit of crouching. If you're tall, this may not be a great tripod for you.Other than that, my only caveat is that it would be great if the E-10 ballhead had a level like its larger siblings do. That's a small quibble, though.

Researched a lot of lightweight travel tripods before opting for this model. Bought it primarily for its ultra light weight, flip lever leg locks, and because reviews of similar Sirui products commented about their high quality. This is my fourth tripod and I am really impressed by the manufacturing quality and smooth operation. By far the best quality tripod I own. Very rigid and sturdy when erected, legs slide out smoothly. I like that the ball head has only two tension knobs; one to clamp the rotation, the other to clamp the angle of the ball head. I use a Fuji XT1 with zoom lenses and the ball head supports them with no problem. Comes with a handy padded bag and a padded carry strap for the tripod. Also includes a short alternative centre column which can be used to lengthen the main column, but frankly I don't consider it necessary. Does everything you expect of a tripod. In summary, a great piece of kit for the money. ADDENDUM: 6 years later and out of warranty the tripod has generally performed well, however I had to get 5 of the original clamps replaced under warranty, not because of misuse, but because of metal failure. This has been very frustrating as the tripod was unusable whilst awaiting repair forcing me to invest in a temporary replacement. I am now looking to retire this tripod, and if I had confidence in the durability of the clamps would buy the same product, but I am very wary of the same problems re-occuring.

Excellent tripod, especially for travel. Lightweight, easy to use and stable once set up. It's not quite as tall as some others without the center column, but the height for me is perfect. The controls on the head are high quality and keep the camera and big sense from swaying. For travel - the clip locks on the legs are a must have. I tried others with the twist locks and it takes at least twice as long to set up and break down.

Dieses ist mein erstes vollwertiges Stativ und habe daher keine direkten Vergleiche zu anderen Stativen. Ich möchte aber trotzdem gerne meine sehr positiven Erfahrungen mitteilen. Wie vermutlich bei vielen andere auch, habe ich von Sirui zum ersten Mal gehört und war etwas skeptisch. Aber viele gute Bewertungen und Tests können ja nicht von ungefähr kommen und ich kann mich diesen nur anschließen.Kurz zu meinen persönlichen Fakten: Ich verwende eine Canon EOS 6D mit Objektiven bis zu 300mm Brennweite. Ich würde mich als ambitionierten Hobby Fotografen einstufen. Das Stativ kommt eher wenig, aber geplant und für besondere Umstände zum Einsatz.Ich habe dieses Stativ in der Ausführung aus Aluminium und E-20 Kopf vor ca. 3 Monaten gekauft und mittlerweile schon viel genutzt. Manchmal auf allgemeinen Reisen und auch einige Male auf längeren und anspruchsvollen Bergwanderungen im Outdoor Bereich. Genau der richtige Einsatzbereich für dieses noch relativ kompakte und sehr stabile Stativ. Komplett zusammengefaltet passt es noch gerade in kleinere Wander rucksäcke.Auch wenn es "nur" 2kg sind, so merkt man doch zu jeder Zeit das man ein Stativ mit sich herum trägt. Als ich das Stativ das erste Mal in den Händen gehalten habe, war ich doch etwas erschrocken, was 2kg extra neben der Kamera bedeuten. Das ist keine Kritik sondern eine subjektive Feststellung. Es ist also kein Federleichtgewicht das man mal eben locker in die Tasche steckt. Dafür hat man aber ein vollwertiges und super stabiles Stativ in kompakter Form. Für mich genau das richtige Mittel zwischen zwei Welten.Mir ist besonders die enorm hohe Verarbeitungsqualität aufgefallen. Alles passgenau. Nichts wackelt (sofern alle Verschlüsse zu sind) Die Gelenke haben beim Aufklappen einen passenden Widerstand. Die Friktion (Drehachse als auch Kugelgelenk) des Kopfes erzeugt einen sehr angenehmen und passenden Widerstand und lassen sich bombenfest andrehen.Sie Schnellwechselplatte mit Rausfallsicherung ist ein Segen. Die dauerhaft befestigte Klapplasche am Gewindestift zur Kamera ist ganz besonders toll. Kein Geldstück oder gar Imbus Schlüssel ist nötig um die Platte an die Kamera zu schrauben. Einfach diese Lasche, die immer da ist und nicht herausfallen kann, umklappen und mit Hand eindrehen und dann wieder zurück klappen.Die Klappverschlüsse der Beine: Ich hatte überlegt was besser ist, Drehverschlüsse oder diese Klappverschlüsse? Hab mich nun für diese Variante mit Klappverschlüssen entschieden. Besonders gefallen hat mir, das je Bein direkt alle drei Verschlüsse mit einem Handgriff zu öffnen und zu schließen sind. Dann geht das auf- und abbauen nochmal schneller und einfacher. Zudem erhoffe mich mir, das diese Verschlüsse etwas langlebiger sind. Insgesamt fühlen sich diese sehr hochwertig an und verschließen fest und sicher. Der einzige Nachteile an diesen Laschen ist, das diese mit einer Ecke leicht übersteht und damit beim verstauen in Rücksäcken etwas stören können und das allgemeine Gefühl der Kompaktheit etwas eingebüßt wird. Für mich aber nur ein sehr kleiner Nachteile der von anderen Vorteilen nach meiner Meinung wieder wett gemacht wird.Dann gibt es noch vier weitere kleine aber schöne Bonus Elemente. Die Gummifüsse haben Spikes die sich ausfahren lassen. Bin auch gerne mal auf Schnee und Eis unterwegs und werde ich bestimmt mal brauchen können, vermutlich aber eher selten. Dann gibt es noch eine Nivellierlibelle die man brauchen mag oder nicht. Jeder wie er will. Ich hab diese schon einige Male für geschwenkte Panorama Aufnahmen verwenden können. Selbst bei leicht schrägem Untergrund fällt es häufig schwer genau einzurichten. Die Libelle kann etwas helfen. Zu guter letzt gibt es noch eine Anhängelasche am unteren Ende der Mittelsäule um ggf. Gewicht anzuhängen. Und als letzten Punkt hat es noch eine schöne Tasche mit Tragriemen und Schulterpolster die sich abnehmen und direkt am Stativ befestigen lassen. Lässt sich damit direkt und bequem auch ohne Tasche auf der Schulter tragen.Es gibt auch ein paar wenige Punkte die nicht ganz so perfekt sind. So ist der Drehverschluss der Mittelsäule komplett aus Plastik und hinterlässt keinen ganz so wertigen Eindruck. Naja, irgendwo musste dann wohl doch gespart werden. Weiter kann ich auch bestätigen, was auch andere schon bemerkt haben, das wenn man das Stativ zusammengeklappt und horizontal an einem Bein anhebt, das dieses aufklappt. Ein kleiner "Schönheitsfehler" vielleicht. Keine Ahnung wie sich das mit anderen Modell verhält. Ich fände es natürlich auch schön, wenn es anders wäre, aber ich würde sagen Beschwerde auf hohem Niveau. Man muss es halt komplett umgreifen oder am Riemen oder im Rucksack transportieren, was ich eigentlich immer mache.Kurzum und zusammengefasst: Bei diesem Statik hat man alles gedacht. Es lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Der Preis ist mehr als angemessen.

Great tripod that does all it says it does. Super light and easy to handle. We are very pleased with it and its made a difference to carrying all our equipment around.
