Depending on application you can locate just for one rotation or two. As the key is rotated the pawl is lifted, then the rack advanced, and then the pawl released back to deadlock the rack and bolt. Simple but elegant with no obvious reliability issues.Security limited by the effectiveness of the retaining screws. El cerrojo está hecho de chapa de lata. Me ha llegado ya doblado. Los tornillos que vienen juntos, parecen mas agujas que tornillos para la seguridad. Lo he modificado completamente y reforzado con acero, también el cerrajero. Ahora si tiene seguridad. Como viene original, no tiene nada de seguridad, ni asusta. En la versión original, si olvidas de abrir el cerrojo y empujas un poco fuerte la puerta, se abre la puerta igualmente.Es un cerrojo barato, pero no vale ni el precio tan bajo.
