The sensor works perfectly fine... once you get it working. Rather than a pull tab on the battery to stop it from draining during shipping, they used a sticker... on the metal contacts inside the sensor. Pulling the sticker pulled the contacts out of the sensor itself, and required me to snap them back in. The sticker also ripped into multiple pieces which made removing it very annoying. Oh, and it left residue behind that I had to clean off the contacts.Once the sensor was finally able to be used though, it was super easy to install and connect to my bike computer. Just spin the wheel a few times and the sensor wakes up, then you can connect it through bluetooth on your phone or bike computer.I compared the distance measured by my bike computer & my phones GPS to get a sense of the accuracy, after a short loop around the local park. The sensor measured 3.44 miles and GPS gave me 3.38 miles. With how close those are I'd lean more on the side of the GPS one being the less accurate measurement over the sensor.

This bike speedometer is fantastic! What I love most is how incredibly easy it is to install and remove. The mounting system is simple and secure, so I can quickly attach it to my wheel hub before a ride and just as easily detach it afterward for safekeeping or to use on another bike.Despite being easy to take on and off, its very stable while riding. The app is clear and easy to read, showing my speed accurately. It's a no-fuss, reliable speedometer app that's perfect for casual riders like me who don't want a complicated setup.Highly recommend for its simplicity and convenience!

Form factor: This model wraps around the wheel hub instead of attaching to the spokes.Connectivity and app compatibility: Bluetooth pairing was easy, phone recognized it quickly on subsequent rides, works well with my existing fitness apps.Accuracy - I have no way of measuring this for sure, but seems reasonable based on my previous ride data with a different sensor.Battery life - TBD, but seems normalMake sure to update your firmware and input the correct wheel size during initial setup.

I’ve been using the COROS Bike Speed Sensor for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed with how well it performs. Setting it up was a breeze—it easily paired with my bike computer and smartwatch via Bluetooth, and I was up and running within minutes. The real-time speed and distance tracking are spot-on and make it easy to monitor my performance during both outdoor rides and indoor training sessions. The sensor attaches securely to the bike and has a low profile, so it doesn’t interfere with the ride. I love that it tracks my speed consistently and syncs seamlessly with my devices to give me accurate metrics. It’s also great that I can review my data in real-time, allowing me to adjust my ride on the go for better performance.Whether you're an outdoor cyclist or you enjoy indoor training, this sensor is a great addition. The battery life seems solid, and it’s built to handle the elements, so I don't have to worry about it during wet or bumpy rides. If you’re looking for a reliable, affordable way to track your biking stats and improve your performance, this sensor is definitely worth it!

This bike speed sensor stands out for its seamless connectivity and real-time tracking capabilities, making it a strong choice for cyclists aiming to monitor and improve performance. A key advantage is how easily it pairs with various devices (bike computers, smartwatches, and smartphones) via Bluetooth, eliminating the frustration of complicated setup. The sensor delivers accurate, real-time speed and distance data for both outdoor rides and indoor training, which is a huge plus for users who train across different environments. Another notable pro is its compact, low-profile design that stays secure during rides. However, some users may find that while Bluetooth pairing is quick, connecting to multiple devices simultaneously can be inconsistent depending on the brand or model. On the downside, this speed sensor is speed-only, meaning it doesn’t track cadence, which could be a limitation for riders who want more comprehensive cycling data. It also relies on a coin cell battery, which, while long-lasting, isn’t rechargeable; so it adds to maintenance over time. That said, for those focused specifically on speed and distance metrics, especially during indoor training sessions where GPS data can fall short, this sensor is an excellent addition. Its reliability, ease of use, and cross-device compatibility make it a worthwhile investment for casual riders and performance-focused cyclists alike, provided they’re aware of its narrower focus compared to dual-function sensors.
