This is not our first pack of sensory necklaces, which we buy for our 6 year old grandson, who is autistic and has pica. He has one around his neck through the day, every day, if he doesn’t he’ll eat anything he can get his hands on, including his clothes. We’ve had to turn some of his school jumpers into tank tops because he has eaten so much off the sleeves!The silicone is soft but durable and he loves the different of colours, but especially the purple! There are so many shapes to choose from, but we’ve found this style to be his favourite. It’s reassuring to know that while he is at school he has a safe chewable for his pica and sensory needs. These necklaces are lightweight, easy and comfortablefor him to wear throughout the day and the fact they are adjustable means they fit well. Also, knowing they’re made from safe, non-toxic silicone gives us peace of mind. Sensory chews in general have made a positive difference for our grandson and I’d definitely recommend them to other families looking for a safe, effective oral sensory tool.These would also be ideal for teething babies.
