I got this wrapping paper to have something on hand for birthdays and general celebrations that wasn’t overly themed or too plain. The blue stars print looked cheerful without being too much, and I liked that it was recyclable kraft paper instead of glossy or foil types that can’t go in the recycling.The design is really nice in person – the stars are a good size and evenly printed, and the blue gives it a festive look that works for adults and kids. It feels strong and doesn’t tear too easily when folding or taping, which is something I’ve struggled with using cheaper paper in the past. It held up well even around sharp corners of boxes.The main thing to note is that the roll is only 43cm wide, which is quite a bit narrower than standard wrapping paper. That meant I had to tape two pieces together for some medium-sized gifts, which wasn’t ideal. It’s perfect for smaller presents or stacking a few for a neat effect, but probably not the best option if you’ve got anything bigger than a shoe box.Still, it’s a lovely roll to keep in the cupboard for smaller gifts and I appreciate being able to recycle it afterwards. Just make sure to check the size before buying so you’re not caught out with larger presents.

Useful and recyclable paper. It's kraft style paper, so that mutes the dark blue colour, so you might think it looks a bit dull, but it does make it look 'grown up', so it's useful for wrapping presents for the older men in your family this Christmas! Good value at £7.99 for 15 metres, but bear in mind it's a shorter 43cm wide roll, so not so good for wrapping large items.
