This is first use of wool/acrylic thread, have been cross-stitching for 25 years. Although the colored pattern is easy to follow, I pencil in pattern as complete so this added a little difficulty. I was not thrilled with the color saturation and covering of the under cloth....and I was about 5 back stitches away when I realized I was supposed to Double the thread! I noted the directions said 2 threads but this variety is 2 woven threads....so now I don have enough thread to restart project over again.Contacted the company as suggested in directions, they said too bad we'll send you stores you can buy more thread. So far haven't heard back...didn't realize they are out of Lithuania. Gonna try and unravel the almost completed project...or buy the kit again.

Unfortunately the thread is bad quality and is fuzzy and frayed, also the fabric is really rough and distorted in some areas making some of the holes to big, the only good thing is the chart, it is easy to follow and printed in colour. I didn’t really like the picture either it was only because my daughter wanted it so I was going to stitch it for her, however she has decided to have a go at cross stitching so it stitching it herself, hope the bad quality doesn’t put her off her new hobby.

super cute. Instructions make it easy to complete project. Only downside is the thread is not cotton so it seems to fray more than regular embroidery floss.
