I've been using Ringke products for many years, including their smartphone cases.While I do have other lanyards, and I tend to always use lanyards on my phone cases, this one is unique in a few different ways.Firstly, while most lanyards tend to be long straps that can wrap around your hand and wrist, this one is much smaller and has a much shorter string attached to it.It's designed to be used with your fingers just to get enough handle on whatever it's attached to as to not let go.One of the unique aspects of this particular buckle is the fact that it's part of a larger ecosystem by the company.You can unclip the loop part and attach a different type of buckle or strap to it as long as it's part of the same ecosystem.This makes it pretty unique and it's nice to see Ringke take an out-of-the-box approach here.Functionally, this lanyard ring is pretty nice and works as expected. For me, I still prefer the longer straps, and that's a personal preference.Some people like smaller rings and loops to hold on to, and if you're one of those people, then you probably would appreciate this particular accessory.Of course, Ringke offers multiple colour options for this lanyard ring, so you can easily customize it and swap between your devices.One last thing to note is that this should be compatible with quite a few different cases and items that are designed to have small lanyard strings attached to them.However, I will say that some smartphone cases do not have lanyard loops on them, but nearly every Ringke case I've ever used does have at least one spot to attach a lanyard.If you're considering this item, I would first check to make sure that your particular smartphone case will accept it.If you're using a different device, then just make sure that it has a little slot or loop to put a lanyard string through.At the time of this review, this particular item is listed at $15.99.

This is a quality product from Ringke. Having tried a few of their products their designs are well thought out, functional and of excellent quality. This finger ring strap is no exception and has been a welcome addition to my airpods case. What I like is that the end is detachable and it's compatible with the Ringke buckle system meaning you can swap and change if you have multiple Ringke products.That being said at £12.99 I do think this is overpriced and should be more towards £10 which some would still think is expensive but personally I'm happy to pay a bit more for a premium product.

This little ring is alright. I was hoping it would be a good option for helping with grip without ruining my phone case, but it doesn't really. It helps just a little with where I have to hold my phone so I can reach the top a little easier but ultimately it's not as helpful as a popsocket for example. It does help to prevent damage to my phone if I drop it, so that's a plus.Overall, I'm still giving it 5 stars because it is a high quality product even though it didn't really work for me.

But if your priority is build and material quality, this one stands out. Price is the only drawback in an otherwise excellent product.
