So I purchased this to drill a hole for my new flag pole. Easy to use and it works great and fast.

Hab ich bestellt um unter dem Sandkasten eine Entwässerung zu bohren. Leider war auch der Bohrer nicht lang genug um durch die Lehnschicht zu kommen. Also hab ich mehrere Bohrungen gemacht und diese mit konstant gefüllt. Das scheint gut zu klappen. Der Bohrer ist echt stabil und hat auch den harten Boden gut durchdrungen. Demnächst werde ich damit wohl zaunpfähle setzen.Alles wie es soll sehr gut 👍

I live in western NC. The soil is red clay like used in making bricks. It is as hard as a brick. I needed to plant a small tree and because of back issues can't dig with a shovel or mattock. I used this auger in my half inch Hvy duty hammer drill and it broke up the ground very easily. I then could easily shovel the loose soil out.It also worked great for digging holes for fence posts. I highly recommend. If it can get thru my compacted clay soil it can get thru yours.
