Versandt und Verpackung tadellos.Ich habe das erste Mal mit Blütenpaste, Modellierwerkzeug und diesen Schampolstern gearbeitet und kann es mir jetzt schon nicht mehr aus dem Haushalt rausdenken. Selbst als Laie konnte ich plötzlich diese tollen Rosen aus Blütenpaste modellieren!Das blaue Pad eignet sich super für diese Sombrero-Form, mit der man direkt eine Halterung für den Blumendraht einarbeiten kann. Dafür sind sogar fünf verschiedene Größen vorhanden. Das weiße Pad eignet sich hingegen besser zum Formen ausgestochener (großer) Blüten, in denen man keine Löcher haben möchte. Selbst bei eingefärbter Blütenpaste blieben keine Farbrückstände auf dem weißen Schaumpolster. Super Set! Ist eine Anschaffung wert, sofern man oft aufwendige/filigrane Deko für Torten zaubert/zaubern will.

I am very involved in cake decorating and have found the modeling pads that come in the most-commonly available brand (the one which is provided in cake decorating classes) to be--to say the least--inadequate.This set comes with two pads: the white one is a medium resistance pad which allows you to press down, stretch, and work your gum paste for most uses. If you want additional cupping or shaping, you can then pass the flower to a spongier surface, but it's a very good place to start and large enough that you can work large flowers or several smaller at a time.The blue pad is a mexican flower pad, meaning that it comes with holes into which you push gum paste to form flowers which have a neck (such as the very popular stephenotis which is so popular in wedding bouquets and cakes.) This pad is a little bit firmer and thicker than the white one, and comes with five holes. Of these, I find that two are so small I can't imagine what flower you would use them for--maybe just for sticking wires into blossoms?. I also haven't found a use for the largest, but I probably will at some point since I'm on the lookout for some flower to use it on. The two middle sizes are the ones I've used, including the 2nd largest for stephenotis (which come out great). The holes are drilled all the way through making it easy to push the flower out from the bottom in case that it sticks a little when you just pull from the top.I wish the holes were placed differently, instead of being spaced all over the entire center of the pad. If they had been spaced across the top half, for example, that would have left the whole bottom half without holes so you could work flowers for which you wanted a firmer surface. As it is, you can still find firm, no-hole surface but it's not continuous.Still, nit-picking aside, I'm very pleased with this set.
