This thing is only marginally better than leaving the bread in the open air. The two pieces of the plastic do not join together and a lot of air gets in. Too much air. Avoid.

A good storage product which is why the price increases. It is not airtight so leave the bread in it's original bread bag, tied with a wire tie. Keeps bread perfectly fresh to the last slice.
