I have a 14 year old goldendoodle who developed vestibular disease and could no longer get on our bed. I had steps but she wouldn't go near them because they moved when she tried to step on them. These are very sturdy and do not budge when my 35 pound doodle climbs up and down. It did take several months of coaxing to get her to use them because her disease causes balance issues but she's using them daily now like a champ. Saves my old back.
