Ich habe zuvor bereits ein Vorgängermodell von Panasonic aus dem Jahre 2016 benutzt, was nun leider seinen Geist aufgab. Mein Kaufgrund für dieses Modell war das "Zoom" Mikrofon und der HDR Modus, außerdem noch die Möglichkeit, die Kamera über Wi-Fi und eine Handy App, von der Bühne aus fern zu bedienen. Diese Eigenschaften waren mir wichtig, da ich die Kamera hauptsächlich zum Mitschnitt meiner Konzerte verwende. "Zoom" ist in Musikerkreisen ein etablierter Hersteller von Aufnahmegeräten jedweder Art. Und auch auf der Kamera verrichtet das Mikrofon eine hervorragende Arbeit. Auch der HDR Modus ist für Konzertaufnahmen unverzichtbar, um beim Blick auf die Bühne das wechselnde Gegenlicht gut zu kompensieren. Das funktioniert in den Aufnahmen ebenfalls sehr gut. Gleichzeitig gibt es hier aber einen Kritikpunkt. Wenn man in den Aufnahmeeinstellungen der Kamera den HDR Modus aktiviert und dann über Wi-Fi die Kamera fernbedient, wird der HDR-Modus deaktiviert und die Kamera in den automatischen Aufnahmemodus geschaltet. Das bekommt man leider erst mit, wenn man die Aufnahmen sichtet. Warum das so ist, erschließt sich mir nicht. Vielleicht liegt es auch an der Panasonic Image App. Dort ist, im Gegensatz zu den Einstellungen direkt in der Kamera, in den Aufnahmeeinstellungen kein HDR verfügbar. Eine Aktualisierung der App brachte leider keine Lösung.Hier muss Panasonic definitiv nachbessern!Werden die Aufnahmen jedoch direkt an der Kamera gestartet und gestoppt, funktioniert alles, wie es soll.Die Videozoom-Funktion verwende ich so gut wie nie, weshalb ich hierzu keine Erfahrungen schreiben kann.Insgesamt kann ich die Kamera guten Gewissens empfehlen, zumal der Preis für die eingebauten Funktionen fast unschlagbar ist.

Smart and finctional , very light and records good video and sound. Instructions are not very comprehensive at all beyond basics but you can use youtube so your ok. Im pleased with it.

I bought this Camcorder from Amazon because I already had a Panasonic Camcorder - an HC-V210 - but I thought I would like a more up-to-date model. This HC-V785 was first available in the UK in August 2022, so it is fairly recent. Older camcorder models made for the UK market before Britain left the EU could not include a microphone socket unless they paid a royalty to recompense copyright owners under EU regulations. Now that we are out of the EU, that no longer applies, and you now can get a consumer-grade camcorder with a mic socket for a reasonable price. That's where the HC-V785 comes in. Whereas the older Panasonic Camcorders include an installation CD, with these later models you have to download HDWriter AE 5.4. The instruction booklet directs you to HDWriter AE5.2, but that's out-of-date, and it is AE5.4 that you have to download. The HC-V785 is not mentioned on the list of applicable models, but that doesn't matter - just enter your serial number, which is on the box, as well as on the camcorder itself. This camcorder differs from earlier models in that it has a touch screen, better stabilization, and more options for the type of file created. This camcorder has better low-light capability than earlier models. An important consideration for those wishing to video things like Carol Concerts is the Stereo microphone input socket which means you are not dependent on the built-in mic. I have only made one video as of the date of this review. I can say the quality is excellent. The only drawback is you cannot close the door if you connect a mic! This camcorder is quite large and heavy and is more suited to indoor semi-professional use, such as YouTube videos than out and about. If you don't need the mic socket and want a Panasonic camcorder, then a less expensive Panasonic model such as the Panasonic HC-V380EG-K will be just as good.

i have just used afew times so far it does good videos, i like panasonic as thier products are quality.it replaced a jvc orrio which lasted 15 yr so i am expecting a lot from it, as it was expensive.
