These shoes are far too narrow for their length and nothing like a standard UK size. I ordered in my normal UK size 10 and they are around 1.5cm shorter than my other shoes. They are so narrow that they squeeze around my toe joints which can be seen bulging through the shoes. The black velvet material has a shiny sparkly type finish which is not very attractive. The soles are shiny and smooth and you have difficulty in walking they slide so much, only a quarter rubber heel prevents you from falling over.

A good pair of slip on/loafer style shoes from Harpelunde. The build quality of these loafers seems to be good and much better than some cheaper alternatives I've reviewed. There's a hem around the entire foot opening which will promote longevity and prevent material fraying. The loafer has structure, it's not simply a piece of fabric as I've seen with some other products. It retains its form when not in use which is usually a good sign. There's a stacked heel with a rubber layer at the very back. The soul bottom isa reddish/brown not shown in the photos.I would not say it's an especially comfortable shoe but most shoes in this price range aren't. Its designed for formal occasions and not daily wear like trainers so I don't see this as a huge issue. I usually wear a size 9 and this is slightly too large for me but a size down may have been too small. With a thicker pair of socks it's almost right. The velvet material does have a sheen as expected, which does make it a bit flashy if that's the style you're aiming for.In terms of value, this seems to be very well constructed for the price (£50) at time of review. I don't think it's overpriced, you'd probably pay about this price or more for something of a similar standard on the Highstreet. The quality would be good enough to be seen in a mid range Highstreet store.

Not what I thought I was ordering. These wedding loafers are most expensive and yet most uncomfortable footwear I think I’ve ever tried to get on my feet.Too tight, too hard and too glittery not for me at all.

These shoes look just like slippers, and for the life of me, I don't think I would ever wear them to anyone's wedding. That said, they are also too tight to be a size 11. The quality looks OK, but the days of crushed velvet died out years ago, didn't they?At the time of writing, these shoes would cost £50, I think that is quite expensive for what they are.

This is a very well made pair of shoes, size 44, but unfortunately a little too tight for my feet. Lovely item though.
