This is a really good mic set for home use. It's easy to use and set up. It's fun and the sound quality is good. The volume control is a cool feature. This is worth the money.

I've been using these as vocal mics at practice sessions with my acoustic band. They're pretty good - feel solid with a nice weight to them. They're quite a tight fit in standard mic clamps, but once they're in place, they feel secure.Sound quality is good with volume controls on the microphone body. There is also a power button, some echo effects buttons (more on that later), and a handy LCD display that shows the battery level, and selected channel number. Out of the box, the mics were set to different channels (as they should be) and worked first time, with no drama.The manual claims 6 hours of battery life, and after using the mics for a 2 hour practice session, the battery life had dropped by about 1/3, which tallies with the stated claim. Time will tell how long the unbranded batteries last, but they're a standard size and can be easily replaced with branded versions.One really nice extra is the inclusion of a three headed charging cable, with a USB A plug on one end, and three USB C plugs at the other, allowing both mics and the receiver to be charged from a single USB port.In the box you'll also find two sponge rubber wind shields for the mics that help to block wind noise (duh!) and some background noise.The mics also have an "effects" option. This is variously described as "echo" or "reverb". Whatever they call it, it's terrible! When switched on, the sound quality drops significantly and vocals sound awful. I guess it might be OK for karaoke, to disguise already bad singing, but for other applications, turn it off and use a real effects unit, if you need to modify your vocals.Finally, the receiver, while a little chunky, works perfectly - the built in standard 1/4" jack fitted snugly onto my mixing desk, and just worked. The manual claims an operating range of up to 50 meters. I tested it at about 20, with no problems. I could also use the mics in an adjacent room, but YMMV.Overall, these are very nice mics for the price. I doubt you'll ever see them on stage at Wembley or The O2, but for casual use, they do what they set out to do very well, apart from the "effects" feature!
