My daughter loves this tail and occasionally the strap may break over time. She does Scuba Dive with it and we just replace it over time. It is fantastic but just like everything, when you use it a lot, it could break down…

I bought this for my finfolk Merbella tail and it does so well! Swims easy and stays on. I even love the socks it comes with and it is nice and sturdy. Love this fin so much!

This is my first monofin and there is a little bit of a learning curve but it didn’t take long for me to get the hang of it. It feels very well made and durable and its easy to adjust the straps. I wear a size 9 or 9.5, occasionally a 10 depending on the brand and the type of shoe and I’m not sure I’d recommend this monofin for anyone with bigger feet than mine because their heels would be hanging off the back a lot which might cause foot cramps.This monofin is well designed, it has just enough flex to give it a more realistic mermaidish flow in the water but its stiff enough to give plenty of propulsion. I’m amazed at how much faster I can swim with this monofin! It’s so much fun zipping around the pool with it!The build quality is very good and it is thoughtfully designed. There are drainage holes in the bottom of the foot pockets to help reduce drag and the foot pockets are very comfortable even of your feet are too big to use the neoprene socks that are included with the monofin. I’m new to monofins and even after swimming around in this for hours i haven’t gotten any cramps. The blade is thin and stiff with a little bit of flex in the water but you can’t fold it. The outside edges of the blade have silicone on them so it’s not sharp and the corners of the blade don’t get too scuffed up. The foot pockets are separated and there’s a gap between the ankles so your feet do not rub against eachother and the straps have cushioned strips on them so there are no blisters. The straps have little pull tabs which make them easy to pull up over your heels so you don’t have to fully unhook and re-hook the strap every time.Speaking of the straps, the only thing I don’t like about this monofin is how bulky the strap buckles are on the outside of the ankles.I did a lot of research and the reason I decided to try this monofin first was its affordability and versatility. This monofin is compatible with a wide range of tail skins from different tailmakers. The Mertailor Guppy tails and FinFolk Discovery tails are affordably priced and they are designed to fit this monofin specifically. This monofin is also recommended by FinFolk for use in their beautiful Signature tail skins. I have not personally tried this monofin with a mermaid tail skin yet - I hope I can afford to buy one soon - but for now I’ve been having tons of fun zipping around in this monofin on its own.

I've been wanting a monofin for a long time and as a beginner, I LOVE it! I bought it specifically for the safety feature and it's a clip on and it's great because it is easy to use! It comes with a carrier and a pair of "socks" so you'll fit like a glove. It even adjusts to different foot sizes. (I'm 7.5) The speed is incredible and I fly through the water now. It's flexible and not stiff so the quality is very nice and professional. 11/10 recommended 👌
