Amazing looking boots,fit well and comfortable from the moment I put them on. Sturdy, well made and not heavy after a day wearing them.. Worth the cost.

Boots are well made, high quality. They're very rigid and provide ample ankle support. The insole is hard as a rock, had to change. The boot isn't very flexible, won't break in after 2 months of wear. Went back to Danners.

One year ago I fell and broke my ankle. These boots are very comfortable and give me the support I need. I am happy enough with the first pair that I have purchased a second pair

Excellent boots, thanks to the lovely weather today, yes they are waterproof, be aware that the size 9 arrives in a 43 12, which as it turns out is spot on for me given my oddly shaped feet, a straight 43 would not have fit, very comfortable from the get go, had them out for a couple of hours on the Sussex downs, couldn't have bought better, lightweight and yet with the stability of a much heavier boot (which is ideal if you have weak ankles), a very well recommended all round boot, service was excellent from the seller and they arrived much earlier than expected.As an add on, they had to be sent for repairs on the goretex liner, the guys at Recon have been fantastic at getting this sorted.
