Had to use a plier to turn cover cap because it was wrenched on tight. The cover is not designed for fit; it screws on and you stop when the cover is aligned; not when cover is firmly closed. Seems to work.

I really like this light it fits easily on the seat post of my bike and after a 5 mile bumpy ride (broken paths from tree roots) it stayed on and did not turn or move from where it was originally facing, I have not used this light at night yet but it seems bright enough to be eye catching or at least be visible even during the day.I really like the soft pulsing mode it has as I feel flashing lights are too distracting but going from full brightness to about half and back to full slowly gives the right amount of movement that I feel would not be too distracting for other people but still be something you would notice.the only reason I did not give this a 5 stars is because the device does not save which lighting mode it was in and because it has a few different modes you'll have to press the button a few times if you want it to be pulsing or solid which while is not a deal breaker is something that could be better.

This was a gift. I'm told it is very good. It did look very small but shines very bright.
