I like the hat. It wels well for me and fits well enough.it provides some great shade for my face, neck, shoulders and a little of the upper back when I mow or walk/hike. I keep my hair short and haven’t gotten sunburned through the top of the hat like I do when I don’t wear a hat, so that is working for me.I did tighten the elastic cord in the hat; my ballcap size is a large. The brim is nice and stiff, but this means that it took a very long time (a week plus of sitting and a month of every-other-day use) to uncrease from the fold in its packaging. It isn’t too heavy, and I am glad the chinstrap is there as it wants to take off in a slight breeze. I got the gray outer with dark underside and it is perfect as it doesn’t hardly absorb sun-heat and the dark underside does not glare at all or reflect light from other surfaces.Recommended, but I would love to see the hat shipped semi-flat (the brim does have a nice angle so it doesn’t flop like a completely flat brim would).
