Described as "quality material" but there is no matte fabric on the inside, it is just the somewhat reflective plastic used throughout. Perhaps less shiny than most plastic, but noticeably more reflective than the matte fabric finish on all my other lens hoods. So rather than "quality material" I would say they are skimping a bit.The speckly finish (see pictured, you can also see a hint of it at the edges of the official photo) also does not smack of quality, but at least is not an issue in itself.I would have been more lenient in my star rating (3 perhaps) if they had simply not chosen to oversell it as "quality material".But it fits well at least and is better than no lens hood at all, at maybe half the price of a 2nd hand original. Knowing what I know now though, I would probably have gone for the cheaper (by a factor of over 2) Pixco one also available on Amazon. I had hoped I would get a bit more quality by paying more more for this one, though suspect this was not the case.

Mit dem Canon Zoomobjektiv EF 16-35mm F4L IS USM wurde auch die Gegenlichtblende EW-82 geliefert. Leider habe ich sie inzwischen verloren. Sie machte auf mich von Beginn an den Eindruck, dass sie nicht fest am Objektiv saß.Wenn man darauf verzichten kann, dass auf der Geli von Len Hood der Schriftzug „Canon“ zu sehen ist, einen der Preis im Vergleich zum Original von Canon erfreut, den kleinen Schalter zu schätzen weiß, der ein Abfallen vom Objektiv verhindert, der greife hier zu.
