Purtroppo (e paradossalmente, data l'importanza del film) questa colonna sonora è inspiegabilmente introvabile. L'unica piattaforma su cui si può ascoltare il corpus intero dell'opera, attualmente, è YouTube, ma nessuna traccia è in alta definizione, anzi, purtroppo sono di qualità estremamente scarsa. Ora che finalmente riesco ad apprezzare le tracce con la qualità audio che meritano, sono entusiasta (inclusa la versione della "Barcarolle" di Offenbach, cantata così soavemente dalla Caballè e dalla Verret)! Un gioiello per ogni melomane!

L'attesa per riceverlo è stata molto lunga e se non avrei fatto il sollecito il CD andava disperso e non l'avrei ricevuto.L'ascolto della musica è nella media, mi aspettavo di meglio perchè durante l'ascolto il volume di alcuni brani è chiaro mentre altri dimeno...Nel suo complesso il cd è buono.

TUTTO PERFETTO, SOLO LA CONSIGLIA UN PO' LENTA (2 SETTIMANE) NON SONO POCHE PER UN CD, MA SE UNO NON HA FRETTA PUO' TROVARE ARTICOLI INTROVABILI

This is one of my top five favourite films.The soundtrack is beautiful and poignant but ultimately uplifting and life affirming. Just like the film it accompanies.You don't need to watch the film to relish the music.I've been playing it non stop since it was delivered.

I was completely reeled in by the movie, and then to some how continue this out(Please-MORE), I'm begging for more! So, ah, I finally discovered one could ownthe sound track. EVEN BETTER!Sometimes I want to listen to something so happy, I just need a break from all the weirdthings in life. This music is wafting through my house, and through my life. It inspires meand gives me hope of SOME happiness in this life. I understand what it's like to have hope.Even in the most dire and evil of circumstances. This movie and music takes me to that hope!Piovani has somehow held on to the Italian flavor, carry it throughout the entire album, andit of course positively, and directly affects the film.I love the Italian flavor, both in the happy and in the sad or more solemn parts of the movie.I love the part where Roberto tells his son, in the concentration camp, that they are going tobeat every body(in the contest they are in) and they do.I see this, and it inspires me SO MUCH, I say to myself" I'm going to beat every body" too.Pretty soon I'm RIDING HIGH, and dancing in my heart. Then I feel this happiness well up fromwith in me, and I thank God every day for this movie, and THIS BEAUTIFUL MUSIC!!!Life can be very hard. but God is greater, God is bigger ,and the word INSPIRATION meansto "breathe in", and THAT IS what happens in my heart and my soul with this movie, and thismusic.DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GET THIS MUSIC. AND WATCH THE DVD!!!!Buy yourself some flowers, dance around your kitchen even if you are by yourself, eat a pizza,laugh out loud, and your friends will think you are crazy.YOU will think you are crazy.
