This product was among the cheaper end of hand whiskers and doesn't do a bad job. There are a few annoying features about it however; the speed setting is awkard to control at times (although it does have good power, even at the lowest setting), when you set the hand whisk down for a minute it's very unsteady and often I felt it might fall over with the whisks still intact, covered in batter (not what you want), the whisks are hard to push into the yellow attachment which is meant to keep all parts together in storage. I ended up not using it at all. And the end of the whisks (the part which is inside the equpment) become very hot very quickly so be careful! Other than that, once you are awre of those little features, the whisk is handy, not too heavy, affordable, compact and does the job

I bought this specially for whisking solidified coconut milk (leave in the fridge...only certain brands work) into cream, which, because I have a severe dairy intolerance, is an absolute pleasure to eat with homemade cake/ desserts.It does the job well, and is easy to use, although I have one caveat... for some reason I feel that the switch should pull towards me for on and speeds 2&3, but instead it switches on by pushing away...this may seem trivial and may just be peculiar to me, but its proving to be a frustration when I wish to stop the mixer...every time!The little plastic addition which enables you to store the beaters flush with the main unit, looks neat but I found it very fiddly and quickly gave up bothering with it. The slowest speed is about right for me; I certainly wouldn't want minimum speed to be any faster.All in all I am satisfied with this purchase.

This item was delivered before the estimated date but arrived with a UK power plug, which was not shown in the description. It was delivered to a German address, so it was necessary for me to purchase a mains adapter, which I wasn't impressed with.

I bought this to replace a twenty year old one which was essentially the same product from the same manufacturer, with only tiny differences. The old one worked extremely well, and so far this one has also been excellent. It is a good-value, basic whisk, which I find whips cream or eggs very well and makes good mayonnaise. It is not massively high powered; I haven't tried it, but I doubt it could be used to mix a stiff dough. It is easy to use, with the switch (which is also the speed selector) and button to remove the blades in a good place, where they can be operated with the hand holding the device. The lead is around five and a half feet long: I mention this because there seems to be a tendency on modern appliances to try to save money by shortening the leads, in many cases to a length that they won't reach kitchen sockets!) This one is OK on that front.The original, twenty-year old one failed because the plastic clips holding the removable blades became brittle over time and eventually shattered; I do not, of course, know if this updated version has the same failing.
