This simply replaces your three way switch. You can then expand the wiring to give you more choices. I fitted a neck pickup to my Fender Acoustasonic Telecaster. I replaced the three way switch with this five way, and after a slight change in the wiring, I was able to then select bridge - bridge/neck - and neck pickups as well as the two piezo selections. Very well made switch. Recommended.

In my opinion, KAISH has the best switches (Still to figure out if they last a long time maintaining quality, though)

Habe in meiner Haar HSS den alten 5-wege-Schalter durch den Kaish Superswitch getauscht. Der Switch ist sehr solide verarbeitet und ermöglicht zahlreiche Schaltungsmöglichkeiten. Einbau war problemlos, der Schalter funktioniert absolut solide und "knartschfrei"

Câblage strat hss

I am a luthier with 40 years of experience. I had a client bring me this switch to install in their guitar and after installation the first time I cycled the switch the back blade broke off. I could not charge the client for the time as I did not complete the job. I do not recommend this product. I would rate it lower if I could.
