A lot of Joseph Joseph products designed for duo purposes that I own several of his products, which saves kitchen spaces, cleaning time and clean look color coordination. This product designed for 3 features: 1) flat grip for longer slices; 2) sharp stainless blade, 3) safer slicing, food grip locks over blade for safe storage. I like its slick look, light, size and light green color. (I've tried for slicing potatoes and onion and work great.)

This mandolin is very sharp and comes with the grip which clips in over the blade for safe storage. It is works very well, however the blade is at a fixed angle so everything you slice is a few millimetres thick, I bought this to make potato crisps and they come out double the thickness of a standard crisp so not ideal.

Took me a minute to figure out how to use. Works great. Sliced veggies for a salad perfect size and fast. Easy to clean.
