Love this headset. I tried different Jabra headsets but this one much better than those, even the higher version.

This review is for office/home office Teams/phone calls - I do not use these for general audio listening/music but I dont think thats the target audience.Ive used this headset for 6 weeks now and would say - fantastic. Used both for Teams calls and also for IP phone calls at work. Some days I am 'on the phone' for 80% of my day and I can honestly say that they are super-comfy. When not on calls, I typically have them just draped around my neck. I absolutely love the fact that you flip the microphone upwards and it mutes the call/Teams.The ANC can feel quite strange at first as it immediately closes in and you can hardly hear anything else apart from the call - Im unsure if the headset also reduces my background noise for the caller (not sure how I check that). These are Jabra 55 and I used to use Jabra 65's at my previous work - these are much lighter.Ships with a USB adapter with an LEd that changes colour depending on what you are doing - Connected/ Teams call/ mute / ready etc. They are also Bluetooth on their own which you dont even need the adapter (I genuinely dont know if it really makes a difference if bluetooth or USB adapter to a laptop but good to know they will still work if I ever misplace the adapter)Only slight negative is the case that it comes with looks great but Im not a big fan of it due to the fact that the design of the little pouch for the usb adapter makes it quite hard to get the adapter in/out - its defo not going to get lost/fall out once its in the pouch but that does mean its a bit of a faff to get it in there in the first place as its a snug fit.Battery life is just incredible - I get hours and hours of use off one charge. My charging routine now is to leave it plugged in when I am on lunch and I can honestly say that I have not ever needed to charge it outside of this routine. I dont know what the quoted battery life is but a full charge easily gets me a FULL day of use even with ANC activated - I top it up just to be on the safe side but probably dont need to.Overall - Yes, they are expensive ( I paid just short of 160) but I dont have great hearing and these are fab. I am in an open plan office and can still be talking to people as I use the coffee machine 20 metres away. Also if a teams call comes in when these are round my neck I can use the special teams button to answer the call or just flip the microphone from mute to talk to answer. Its a proper wireless experience.My recommendation at March 2024 based on experience - If I could get the Jabra 65's for 100 quid or less today brand new then I would go for those but if not that cheap then definitely i'd pay the extra and get these Jabra 55's with ANC - the price of the 55s seems to be hovering at around 150/160 right now but if you are reading this then you are probably already considering paying that.PS the 65s are the older version - the 55s are the newer version - strange that the numbers went backwards???I hope this review, in some small way, helps someone with their purchase decision.

I’ve been using the Jabra Evolve2 55 (Stereo) for about two weeks so I think now’s a good time to offer my thoughts: There is plenty of adjustment in the headset so finding the sweet spot won’t be hard. They’re so comfortable that when I’m not using them for calls I tend to keep them on. They rest lightly on the ears and I simply tend to forget I have them on so I would rate them highly for comfort. I use the head set both in an office and home environment, the former being the noisier of the two. The earphones and the general sound is so good that I’ve had no issue whatsoever in hearing any conversation while on a call. I can roam 1-12 meters from my laptop before I lose connection and the sound quality does not suffer at that longer distance. The noise cancelling feature certainly helps with general sound quality in the noisier environment and I find that it helps to add a more natural sounding tone to call. Optional customizations & the graphic equalizer are available through the Jabra Direct App. One particularly nice feature is the ability to go on mute by raising the microphone boom arm up and unmuting by lowering it, I do love this feature. The Jabra Evolve2 55 is a very good headset indeed. My previous headset was another Jabra set, an Evolve 65 and I’d used it for many years. I think it’s fair to say that on all fronts the Evolve2 55 improves on all features and I’m glad I took the plunge. Sound quality & comfort are much improved and for me these are the two most important features of any headset.

Ich besitze schon seit längerem ein "Jabra Pro 925" Headset an meinem Yealink Voice over IP Telefon. Dies war per DECT-Basis mit dem Telefon und per Bluetooth mit dem Computer verbunden.Das habe ich nun durch dieses Headset ersetzt denn man kann es auch - und das war ganz Problemlos - mit 2 Bluetoothgeräten gleichzeitig koppeln. Also ist es nun sowohl mit meinem Computer als auch mit meinem VoIP Telefon per Bluetooth verbunden. Und ich höre immer beides, kann also am Telefon wählen und höre die Wahltöne und gleichzeitig Musik vom PC. Wo ich das hier schreibe habe ich das Headset per USB mit dem Computer verbunden (ich wollte die Einstellungen der Software testen), da wurde die Bluetoothverbindung zum PC getrennt und läuft nun über das USB-Kabel, mein Telefon ist aber weiter über Bluetooth angebunden. Die "Duale Konnektivität" funktioniert also perfekt, so hatte ich das bisher noch nicht. Aber genau so muss das sein!Natürlich kann ich mir am PC auch wie bisher einstellen das das Headset nur in Teams genutzt wird. Aber dann würde ich ja auf das "noise cancelling" verzichten.Ich besitze bereits In-Ear Noise Cancelling Kopfhörer. Die sind zwar schön für unterwegs, war im Büro aber nicht so geeignet. Ich kann dort zwar einen "Durchzug" oder "Stimmen" Modus aktivieren, aber entweder haben ich dann ja noch alle Geräusche oder ich muss hoffen das die eine Stimme die mich anspricht durchgelassen wird.Noise Cancelling bei diesem Kopfhörer scheint ganz auf den Bürobetrieb zugeschnitten zu sein. Ich habe mein Homeoffice in einem Kellerbüro. In diesem Büro steht noch ein Datenschrank mit der ganzen IT wie Switche und Server, viele kleine Lüfter was ich als Hintergrund rauschen gewohnt bin. Das ist komplett weg.Meinen 3D Drucker hinter mir kann ich noch hören, aber spürbar gedämmt. Das Klappern meiner Tastatur kann ich noch hören, was ich aber sehr angenehm finde. Das Noise Cancelling schottet einen also nicht komplett ab, nimmt aber viel Lärm aus der Umgebung. Ich halte das für einen schönen Kompromiss zwischen völliger Isolation und vollen Durchzug.Die Busy-Lights sind im Homeoffice noch nicht ganz so wichtig, das müsste ich meiner Familie noch erst beibringen (aber ich habe ja mein separates Büro)Die Funktion in Teams und an meinem VoIP Telefon war einwandfrei, das Stummschalten per Mikrofon hochklappen funktioniert inzwischen auch intuitiv.Fazit: Ein tolles Headset im Bürobetrieb, aber auch im Homeoffice.

Ich nutze aktuell ein Evolve 2 65 auf meiner Arbeit.Als Callagent muss ich wert auf das Gewicht legen, damit ich 8 Stunden durchgehend telefonieren kann, dabei soll die Sprachqualität aber nicht leiden.Im direkten vergleich ist das Evolve 2 55 ein gutes Stück leichter als das Evolve 2 65Das Mikrofon der beiden ist meines Erachtens nach identisch.Vom ANC merke ich bezüglich den beiden ehrlichgesagt keinen unterschied.Das Evolve 2 65 klingt voluminöser, ja kann schon fast zum Musikhören taugen und hat sogar einen dezenten bass, während das Evolve 2 55 etwas "Blasser" klingt, nicht so voluminös aber auch nicht wirklich schlecht.Geliefert wird der Link 380, das schöne dabei ist -> ich kann damit meine beiden Jabras koppeln (Java Link Software erforderlich) -> somit habe ich einen Stecker für den Arbeits Pc und einen für den normalen PC das hin und her switchen klappt nach dem Koppeln auch ohne Probleme, ja sogar beide Headsets lassen sich an einem Adapter koppeln (nicht gleichzeitig nutzen, aber Autoconnecten).Persönlich finde ich ist das Evolve 2 55 für den Arbeitsalltag aufgrund des leichteren Gewichts besser geeignet.Aufgrund der Bauweise fühlt es sich aber auch wirklich "billig" an... -> der Leichtbauweise allerdings geschuldet.Wenn man die USB-C Variante nimmt, passt es auch ins Steamdeck rein und lässt sich dort ohne Probleme nutzen (auch das Mic, hier schaltet das Headset aber in einen Low Quality Modus um, da die Bandbreite der Bluethooth Verbindung sonst nicht ausreicht, ist am PC aber genauso).Auch lässt sich das Evolve 2 55 ohne Dongle via Bluethooth verbinden - dazu einfach den Powerschalter ca 5 Sekunden gedrückt lassen um in den Pairing Modus zu kommen.Alles in allem, kann ich das Evolve 2 55 für die Arbeit aufgrund des sehr leichten Gewichts und des wirklich bequemen Tragekomforts empfehlen.Wem ein wenig Gewicht mehr nichts ausmacht, empfehle ich aber eher zum Evolve 2 65, hier ist die Verarbeitung meines Erachtens nach wertiger + die Dock ist echt ein Gamechanger, zudem ist das Busylight deutlich besser zu erkennen.Für alle die es interessiert, auch wenn da MS Teams steht, kann ich es ohne Probleme in WebEx nutzen.Von mir 4/5 Sterne mit einer Empfehlung wenn es leicht sein soll und dabei für die Größe auch eine gute Sprachqualität bieten muss, tut es hier seinen Job ausgezeichnet.Persönlich tendiere ich zum Evolve 2 65
