This is a wonderful little label printer that is a joy to use, and it is controlled by an amazing app (Phomemo). There are a huge variety of images that you can print along with templates where you can add text and drawing, like I did with the penguin name tag, where I added the text and the squiggle below. You can also take a picture and print, like I did with the Quick Start guide, but I’ve found that I could not get a good picture and have it reduced to black and white well. Maybe I need to work on it more, or maybe the subscription (more below) has more features.I would say that the print quality is excellent, and the printing is very quick. I’ve included some examples. The label comes curled out of the printer, but once you peel it from the backing and stick it, there is no issue. What is particularly nice about this label maker is that the label is continuous, and there are no seams. So, you can customize the size of the graphic you are printing to your own needs. The downside is that you need the extra bit of white space at the top of the print region that results from having to push the previous print out of the printer so that it can be torn off. So you may want to cut that part off. As for tearing the label off, this worked excellent all of the time except if it was a very small label (1cm tall), and I couldn’t get the right angle to tear it perfectly. If used as a name tag, the label sticks really well to clothing and will not simply fall off. When removed from the clothing, it will remove some fibres as you might expect, but it will not leave a residue behind. This provides a fun and customizable way to create name tags.As mentioned, the app used with the Q02 provides an amazingly wide array of printable images that are too many to list here, but also include holiday and celebration events. Some of these can be edited with your choice of fonts for text as well. While most of these are free to use, there are some premium images and fonts that can be accessed through a subscription. The subscription also provides enhanced functionality within that app for processing images and AI generation of images. So, while there is a huge array of functionality included in your purchase, you do have the option to expand it as you use your printer more and want additional functionality.

This is easy to use and great for images, however I wouldn't purchase this if you're using it for studying and need to print off images that contain text. It's not clear enough to read.Disappointed

I have another mini printer made by Phonemo and this printer uses the same app... I don't know if the companies are connected but they make wonderful little mini printers. My other one prints mostly label sized so I use it to make my own homemade address labels. I've been using it for over a year now and it hasn't died yet… it's become a daily part of my life. So when I saw this with a different size sticker, I thought this would be great for when I'm feeling crafty. So far, I'm really enjoying it a lot. It's very easy to connect to your phone and download the app and it has quite a few choices of pre-drawn, stickers, and labels… not all of them will be for everybody of course but you do have the option of using their AI app for 30 bucks a year, which I probably won't do. But who knows? They do give you a few sample tries of it so you can figure it out for yourself whether it meet your needs.My only complaint is the paper… they do include a few stickers, but it's not a whole roll and I think they should've included more. With my other one I got enough labels to last me over six months so I'm a little let down by this. And the sticker paper is really hard to find without included thermal paper. I don't need that… I just want the stickers so it's frustrating. But I finally found some and I'm waiting for them to be delivered… they look OK and I hope they print well. I ordered both white, colored and transparent stickers and the transparent ones are the ones I'm looking forward to most of all. With the holidays, I think I'm gonna have a lot of fun with my cards and my gift wrapping. If you're into that kind of thing, don't hesitate on getting it… makes holiday fun easy!

I have owned a thermal printing camera for a couple years now. I love taking it with me when I'm going out with friends. It's easy to use and really fun. The only downside to the camera, is that if I want to print some photos from my phone or for a larger project (I'm a professional photographer who works on abstract art pieces sometimes) then I have to transfer the photos from my phone or camera, to the memory card of the thermal camera.With this printer, it makes that process WAY simpler via the use of the app from my phone. The app works really well and is easy to use. It has a lot of extra features that, admittedly, I will probably never use. But I'm sure that most will get a lot of use out of them.My only complaint is that the printer uses a style of dithering that utilizes larger individual dots instead of a gradient style that my thermal camera uses. Because of this, the photos look a little lower in quality but once you step a few feet away, it's not noticeable at all. And who knows, maybe that is a side effect of the software used and I can hack it in the future.TL;DR I am very happy with this printer and look forward to using it more in the future.
