Etwas laut. Gut programmierbar via Handy.

POSITIVES:- Uses beeps and sounds effect most of the time instead of talking useless for nothignn as most of the other brands do. There is no 'scanning the room' or no 'start cleaning' - the robot only emits a fe discreet beeps and goes. It does not constantly yell useless information that will disturb while you are working like other brands do.- Fairly strong suction- Works out of the box with Home Assistant - reports battery levels, status, and can be remote control to start cleaning or go back to base. Also shows is the bin is full.- No mop feature (yes this is the positive, I never even use any of the water tank from any of my previous robotsEnough features are available through the physical buttons on the robot itself (you can start, pause, or send to recharge. Other brands need an App with an account , or a low quality physical plastic remote to do this.)NEGATIVES:- The guidance algorithm is absolutely terrible. I had cheaper robots earlier which were a lot more efficient at covering the room surface. This one relies on randomness a lot, and will clean 4 or 5 times the same spots while not going at all to other spots- The robot does not find its charging station. Even in the same room, it will randomly go to every possible opposite corners and then run out of battery. You need to place it right in from of the station to get it to charge. Also when it run out of battery, it completely runs out, not keeping the minimum to go to the station even 20 cm away. Other brands do not have this issue and keep a minimum amount of energy. As a result placing it in front of the base is not sufficient, you often need to place it EXACTLY on it- The robot is very very noisy. Rattling coming from inside even brand new, which is not surprising when you see how poorly secured is the bin (it keeps vibrating and making additional noise)- The robot does not work on black/dark carpet at all. So much so I had to cover all the cliff sensors with tape to have it working in my living room. Without, it will stop every 10 to 15 seconds thinking it is near a cliff. This is apparently a known 'feature' provided by the Roomba team who cannot be bothered to have an option to disable this feature in the app.- I did a lot of research after buying and sending back multiple vaccum robots for silly reasons - I sent back another model because the base station was hard wired. So I did my research this time , and make sure to confirm from product photos that the power supply can be disconnected from the base. I did find some pictures (not on amazon description of course), showing an external power adapter that you can disconnect. Receiving the product, it is instead a C7 cable bringing 220V directly to the station on the ground. I can still use that, but that does not seem safe. If you have a water damage in your place it will potentially cause a hazard.-The plastics on the robot do not seem to be very high quality. If I push the left side bumper, it moves a few millimeters. If I push right side, it move the right bumper inwards, but also causes the left bumper to move left. This strange asymmetrical behavior does not inspire confidence with the assembly or plastic used. It feels like there are some springs only on one side of the bumper.- Contacting the Roomba support involves creating an account, and then filling a page with a gazillions fields, even if all you need is a quick confirmation when starting using the product. I almost gave up after clicking 'I am not a robot' 10 times, which causes mandatory fields to be emptied on the page so you can try again. I never received any reply anyway.- The button placement to unlock the bin is an absolute failure. Every time to grab the robot to move it to another room (or to its charging station it cant find) you risk pushing the button by mistake and you end up with the bin in your hand, the robot on the ground and the dust everywhere. I have the robot for 2 days, and it already happened to me 4 times. The unlock button is way too big, is located right where you would pick up the robot, is very sensitive (unlocks if you breathe too hard) and is black so you don't really see it before it's in your had, and by that time, you have clicked it already, and you can start cleaning this new mess this created. All and all, I do not regret this purchase. Some odd design choices and poor ergonomics for no good Engineering reason, but usable after some tweaks. It is just a bit strange my favorite feature (HA integration) is just an happy accident unwanted by Roomba and is really just a hack from Home Assistant community. Brands are fighting so hard to impose their ecosystem while the customer interest is the very opposite. If one Vaccum Robot brand were to officially start supporting Home Assistant integration, they would just get my money every time, I would not even bother checking other brands.
