Ignore the other reviews about how thick it is, or how it dries, don't use the spatula. On a square CPU, use the dot method, and on a larger rectangular CPU do the thick line or x-method. It'll be fine...Over the last 6 months I've been trying various thermal compounds since I installed a contact frame on my i9-12900k - a notoriously hot processor. From thermal grizzly, to mx-4, name your paste I tried it. And I really just did this for fun as an enthusiast.This stuff is incredible, I have yet to run cinnebench as I'd like to let it set for a few heat cycles before comparing the results to my prior tests. However my idle temps dropped by 5-7c just after boot on the second day. Not recommended. Very difficult to apply. I am doubtful about the thermal conductivity numbers.

Excellent product. Managed to drop the temperature of the CPU by 15 degrees Celsius.Is a little bit on the hard side when it comes to applying it, but with a little perseverance is on.
